well, here's someone who knows their trade. the idea is rather straight forward, but the execution of the idea is one of the most clean and complete I have seen in this jam. your wood based artsyle is lovely, the mechanics work perfectly and when you started to get creative with the mechanics in that maze level I got really excited. I would have kept playing for another 20 levels if you brought fresh ideas like that every couple of levels - but alas! it is of course still a gamejam game, I can't be greedy ;-)

I wouldn't really bring it up usually, but seeing how polished everything is, you might want to know:
I played with my cheap fake xbox controller and the little guys wouldn't stop the running animation, even when standing still - it's very likely a deadzone thing which should be super easy to fix on your end.
thanks for a great game! carry on!

Clever puzzles in a different perspective than most! Level 4 stumped me for a bit, the buttons weren't as responsive in that one for whatever reason and it was unclear that I could move the platform to either side and not just swap it between the center and right-hand side.

Surely would be more enjoyable in a two player experience where each player is locked into their own dimension and sees their screen consistently from it. :)

Well luckily for you you have a 2 player mode

I just needed the second player to go along with it! 😄

I loved it so much, the puzzles difficulty was perfect (for me at least) not so complex and no so obvious

The atmosphere is cool and chill, well done mate 👏

Love how the game looks and sounds. But wow, the player sure is reflective despite being made out of wood. Love the level design. Level 4 is a bit confusing since I couldn't see the slope on the dark slope and thought it was a wall. The chill music fit the game really well. The sounds effects are glad too. There is this bug that make the walking sound play on loop when you walk into the wall and change dimension.

Overall, great game.

I knew the second I saw the screenshots I was going to love this! Great job. The puzzle design is excellent too, the puzzles are not too difficult but still provide a challenge. One of my favorite entries. I only have some really minor feedback as this was very polished.

Speaking of polishing :D, the glossiness of the wood on the characters felt a bit too much. I liked the medium setting for reflection more, but it's just my opinion. It's great that gamepad is supported for movement, I like that a lot, but it was still lacking in menus. You could for example pause with the start button but you have to use the mouse to unpause. Same for the main menu and the next level button. Other than that, I was a bit stuck on level 4, that's mainly on me but I thought the wood at the bottom-middle of the screen was a wall. Oh and for some reason finishing level 3 unlocked level 6 in the selection menu for me instead of 4.

Amazing game, couldn't stop playing. Very good level design, the assets used including the relaxing music and nice sounds. Fits the theme perfectly!

That is one of the best puzzlers in this jam - shame only 5 people voted on it!
the one with the briged and the two buttons took me the longest because I did't realise the blue button only works when it is in the middle or the left side and the other button only for the middle and right side - maybe just make one button always go left and the other always go right

Developer

thank you for your feedback :)

Nice looking game and good job on getting multiple levels in. I couldn't get past I think it was the fourth? But, I'm bad at other people's puzzles so take it with a grain of salt!

Developer

i was actually kinda worried the puzzles would be too easy

Did I mention how bad I am at puzzles? ^-^ But, I would say it is easy to think something is more obvious than it is when you're the one who designed it, you literally know everything!
