That was fun but really hard! I tried to gather the 1000000 souls but could not more than 20 :o)

The only drawback I could see so far is that the pace is a bit slow.

Yes i will work on the pace. i actually wanted to add different weapons with more power. And other enemies whos dropping more souls. But then came the deadline :D

This was a massive undertaking. It's amazing you attempted something like this. And I did play all the way up to level 9. I don't know if I was doing something wrong but progression felt like it was taking forever. So maybe balancing the game to scale faster would be cool. I found myself at level 4 feeling like I hadn't made any progress. There were a handful of glitches too. But the art style, the animations. They were all really great!

Thank you so much for playing the Game.  Yes i will work on the balancing of the game. It was planed to add more enemies wich drops more Souls and buyable gear from the Reaper to get stronger and so on.

It seems like you sometimes get damage before the enemy hits you.

it could be that there is  a problem with the animation. 

The attached collider is activated at one point in the animation and deactivated again at a later point. Maybe there is an error in there. I'll take a look.

Nice game, controls are a bit hard to master. Maybe some tuning in the reaction speed would help

I will update the Game after Jam with better Controls. 

Making all the Animations and Graphics and the Programming of the game was a litte to much :D

maybe i'm missing something, how do i go back to level? The mechanics are nice but difficult to master. Good idea of the stamina bar to always keep under control

hey,

thank you for playing my game. You should be able to go back to the "Level Area" on the top right of the map. On the same spot where you come from the area you can press "E" to go back.

Just a heads up, got this error when it started to load. I'll try another browser.
"Your browser does not support graphics API "WebGL 2" which is required for this content."
Running on Mozilla Firefox 100.0.2

Works fine on Edge for those wondering.

Oh thank you so much. I didn't test the game on Windows. Just with Safari on my Mac. I will try to figure out why this happened.

I found it hard to play which was a shame because it presented very nicely and the story got me excited.

Sadly I think it is highly unlikely I could gather 1,000,000 souls, did you manage it?

What I saw that I am often guilty of that could help improve your game is the different pixel resolution characters, UI, BG etc. are all different it felt quite jarring and was a good lesson for me - so thank you for that :)

Hey thank you so much for playing and rating. No I think its not possible to gather the 1mil souls yet. I didn't manage to implement more different enemies.  Its planed to add stronger enemies who will drop more souls . And also the possibility to buy gear and upgrade your avatar to gather souls faster. 

Thank you for your advice with the different resolution. I didn't noticed that.

You are welcome at a glance you game really excited me very nicely composed and I could see your plans for expanding (upgrades etc.) we are all guilty of a little overscope going into these jams :).
