Really like the vibe of this game, only advice I would have is make the visual clarity a bit better.

Wow! I was impressed by this game! The music, sound design, and story worked well together. I liked the interpretation of the theme. I think it could have been better reflected in the gameplay, but that is a minor critique. I noticed that there were a lot of different text colors, some of which were hard to read on the various backgrounds. Towards the beginning, there was a blue on dark gray text and I noticed the contrast was pretty low. Important to keep this in mind for anyone who is colorblind.

Really enjoyed the story, and the game reminded me of Thomas was alone. Keep it up!

Oh, thank you for the point about colourblindness! Fixing the colour contrast is now quite high on my list of post-jam tweaks. Thanks so much for playing! ^.^

I enjoyed this game. My only piece of feedback would be to make the game window smaller or add a fullscreen option. I was playing the game on my laptop and the whole game didn’t fit on my screen so I missed some of the text and some of the level which was important to gameplay. I also found at the beginning some of the text disappeared too quickly so I didn’t have enough time to read it. Other than that this was great and I absolutely loved the backgrounds so great job you should be proud!

Thanks so much for playing!! I'll definitely consider tweaking how the text appears/disappears + is displayed—I changed the game window to fit the resolution for the engine I used since scaling it down seemed to mess up the text, but in hindsight I totally forgot about testing for a full screen option lol. Maybe I'll see if tinkering with BitMap text might do the trick. :)

That makes sense. Good job though!

I like games like this that have vague lore. The backgrounds are great too.

Developer

Tysm! :D I had a lot of fun coming up with the lore. I can't take credit for the backgrounds though, they were taken from the awesome Craftpix :)

The Idea it's very interesting and I love the gameplay, simple but very easy to get without being easy. Maybe you could improve in the contrast between the foreground and the background other than that great job!

Loved the colour and the concept of this game. It's sort of game you can play for a long time.

The comments could've been with a different typeface and maybe bolder for legibility but overall a nice game!

I really like the vibe and the art. Nice job!

As others commented the colour is hard to see against the background, but the concept of the game is good and oh my goodness I love the background, it looks stunning

platformer simon game haha. no bugs for me. hard to see with the aqua background since the platform are almost the same color but easy the pick up game.

Developer

Happy you liked it! Given another person's feedback, thinking I ought to tweak the platform colour to match the environment better in a post-jam update. 🤔

Hey, I like the simple vibe and the aesthetics. I found the thin platforms/goals to be a bit hard to see, and sometimes the colors blended in with the background

Nice game!

Developer

The platforms/squares are meant to match each background so they're not so easy to find—hence why the squares light up—but I might adjust them later so it's not too much of a Where's Waldo scenario. Thanks for the feedback! :D
