Very fun, and a lot harder than I expected.

This is a nice take on the classic cliché riddle.  Very charming art style, very well done, nice job!

Hallo,

Thank you for sharing your game. I’ve already saved its RATING;

1. verified: GAME due to sample screenshots have noticeable drawing and animation techniques

2. notes: noticeable background musical tune to remind me of JAZZ and coffee shops; adds: action button sound appears to be noticeably loud and sharp

3. learned: had to set to full screen mode to understand technique to solve puzzle;

4. observed: instructions are NOT anymore displayed after finishing a level, albeit are displayed again after returning to level select; stopped @level 4 (with the fox and sheep combination) from level 3, due to appeared shall need to use additional TIME for me to solve; adds: noted fox sound as that of dog’s; adds: @START, fox and sheep count equal, where: condition supposedly is: sheep count > fox count;

5. read: “In development” status

Thank you. Health!

Congratz, it's quite a polished game, works well overall & fun to play!

This was a cool one! I love the visuals, the music is nice too and the puzzles were interesting as well. I think some of the sprites are compressed strangely, and there seems to be a "clicking noise" in the menu music, but those are my only two criticisms! I loved it :)

Developer

Thank you so much! That clicking noise has been driving me crazy for a week, I can't find the problem :(

Nice casual game! Will you release it on mobile devices?

Developer

Thank you! We might release it for Android since it's so easy :). But first, we would like to improve it a lot...

Great game! Everything blends so nicely together - graphics, music, animations, gameplay - this is just outstanding. And it is out-of-the-box ready for mobile devices. Fantastic achievement!

Fun game! Felt really polished. The puzzles weren't too hard but neither too easy :) Great entry!

That was quite a fun puzzle game based on river crossing riddle! I can imagine this having the potential of having multiple islands with a lot of characters and rules among them. The presentation was excellent, only thing I wish would have been added is an continue to next level option instead of always having to go back to the main menu to select a level, but I'm sure that just got cut out because of time constraints. Was funny to imagine the characters controlling their instincts when they're on a boat, the fox is like "Well I wanna eat this chicken, but what if something goes wrong when sailing and I need help to get to the other side, I should just wait until we're alone on the other side"

Great job, had e pleasant time playing it :)

I really liked the concept for the game, I used to love this kind of puzzles when I was a kid. This is one of my favorite submissions so far. The art and the music is awesome too. Great work :)

The visuals and music make for a very relaxing game. The concept is nice and it's a fun take on the theme!

The one thing I would improve is to add some minimal animation just to give feedback on what he did wrong (or right) before triggering the game over screen. For example, seing that the fox eats the chicken.

But already it's super polished. Your team did a great job!

Thank you!

The plan was to add something like this, where you could see part of the animals going in and out of the cloud of dust, but we ran out of time ;(.

That would be perfect! Yeah, I know it's always like that in a jam, the time is the limiting factor, not the ideas ;)

Really fun game, good music and art. I found all the levels pretty easy other then the one with only 10 moves.

Great job.

I love how relaxing this game is! A level here or there felt a bit trivial, but I really enjoyed the Level 5, where the boat can only be driven for 15 minutes. That was fun to figure out. The visuals and audio were also fantastic and really tied everything well together. Really well done!

Developer (1 edit)

We spent too much time implementing the game mechanics and not enough time designing the levels :( Thank you for playing though!
