Damn it, another Unity game without graphic settings. I just uses my desktop resolution, which my gpu can´t handle in games. Seems to look nice, but is almost unplayable for me. And the steps are a bit on the short side, maybe let the character walk a bit further every step.
Strong presentation here, with the commands drawn on the wall and even better the map on the wall, this is cool.
Very creepy at first, but then the ghost sort of becomes a minor nuisance and the real enemy becomes the battery power :D I usually stop when I run out of battery as I see no way to keep going afterwards. Good stuff for a first game and game jam, but I would ditch the free mouse look in this one, it doesn't blend well with the control scheme.
The idea of a horror dungeon crawler is good ! But the realization is not so good. I found the movement/view system clunky. As already said, maybe the game was not design to be a dungeon crawler from the start ? Your movement are not grid base, and there even is a diagonal door on a diagonal wall (hard to go when you can't go diagonally)
Sadly for an horror game, there is no music or ambiance sfx, ! I didn't discover all the places shown in trailer. I roawed in a lot of empty rooms and corridor not knowing where I was going. It reminds me of the time of the first Slenderman game, maybe that's the point but I think that this kind of level design has not aged very well. I think it could be better with smaller labyrinth with more point of interest.
There is lore written on the walls but I didn't take the time to read it all because they were all very long and the battery of my flashlight was limited.
One, not stream friendly, at least on my machine.
Doesn't really feel like a dungeon crawler -- more like a horror game designed for free movement with grid movement added at the last moment.
