Neat game, although a bit slow paced for me. The lack of sound effects made it feel quite hollow, and my dopamine receptors cry out for a big "You win!!" text after you conquer all the zones. Very cool concept though.
Edit: I'm using Opera GX and everything worked great, including music

Cleared all breathtaking checkpoints! The different controls for combat and exploration mode are a bit disorienting first, but apart from that I really liked it. Good job!
Btw the music worked fine for me in browser (Firefox).
This was cool -I liked hunting down the check points like some sort of avacado salesman or something xD -Chill fun experience with a cool reflective gameplay mechanic -nice work! :D
This game is beautiful, I really admire the effort you put into the intro cutscene of the spaceship report. The enemy approaches also look really cool. One thing though, the map seems a bit confusing to look at because the distinction from the game and the UI is not clear enough. Put a dark screen below the map menu, and it becomes clearer. Also, I understand that this is a ship and it needs smoothing, but for me the ship movement is way too radical. Anyway, great job (as a solo dev, you should be proud by pulling this off!!)
Neat idea but with some conveyance issues. I wish I didn't need to use the map to find the next combat zone and the modal switches between your normal engines and the locked in place but can teleport feels odd. At the very least I'd want both motion controls to be mouse controlled, or just have teleport always be the control scheme for movement, especially when there are enemies you can't kill without it.
It's cute to have the open world but I didn't realize right away that I didn't need to actually fight things outside the combat zones.
thanks! Yeah, I need to admit that the controls are kinda odd at the start, but when you get them they start to look more natural and cooler B)
If you liked the open world part, you might aprecciate my other game Overworld Dungeon! It is a Roguelike open world style , with tons of itens and weapons to discover *-*
Could display enemy location's on the map, but after that it is pretty good TBH
