How does your game fit the theme?
The game is all about restarting what you already did, trying to go fast in the process!

Every time you get to the end of a level, you start it again from the beginning, but with a twist!

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code was made from scratch, but we used some premade assets, as well as some of our own!

What an amazing game. played through the whole thing in 723 seconds. Found myself absolutely locked and enjoyed every second of it, absolutely amazing job!!!

Really good job with the theme.  Super fun!  Except the upside down level.  I didn't like that level.  Nope.  Not one bit lol.   Excellent job on this game!

Great job with the art and polish. This was well built and designed! Was fun playing it and it fits the theme well! Great entry!

Cool Concept, the character moved a little too slow but besides that really fun,

You should check out my game! :)

Developer

Yeah it's because to move faster you have to maintain shift. That was our fault. But thanks for the comment. I'll go rate your game

For someone who doesn't play keyboard/mouse games much, this is crazy hard. Controller support would be awesome. You have a good game though. Great way to reuse the level.

We forgor (skull) sry

Excellent job. Surprising amount of content. A good idea to reuse the level layout. Not just for practicaly but you learn to level as you play so it makes the more complex mechanics more understandable.

I wanted to ask how did you code the clones?

Developer(+1)

Yes we did code the clones. The game records the inputs of the player and his position each frame. The only thing we have to do is to put them in a player replica. And it worked

Really nice game, the art was beautifull, and the level design concepts were fun to experiment gg, but pls, no more reverse water level lmao.

Very polished platformer! It reminds me of online game This is only one level.

Developer

It's litteraly our inspiration :p nice guess

It was amazing how many things I could do in this game!

Submitted(+1)

One of my favorite games from this jam! Really impressive how much was made with this one layout of the level. The variety of mechanics was really cool to see too. Great work!

Submitted(+1)

even though this idea was pretty common, great execution! this was fun and the mechanics were superb! especially the leaving dead versions of yourself part. 10/10!

Submitted(+1)

wow lol this was really fun! This is the beat switch-up in a song equivalent to a video game the way you switched up the mechanics as you play through. I was always looking forward to what the next level was going to be. Also the game was funny at times. The one where you leave dead versions of yourself around got me. Overall really great game!

Submitted(+1)

This is an amazing reuse of the same level! I can't believe how creative you can to design this many mechanics that are fun and interesting that works on the same level! Great work!

Great game! Even though I got stuck on the anvil level, but that's just me, I'm not all that good at video games

I loved the title, especially. I enjoy a good conversational title, even though you wouldn't know that because I haven't used that kind of thing in my own titles lol

The concept of taking a level and implementing different twists each time you play it was done beautifully here, and with an awesome art style and soundtrack to boot.

My main gripe was with the controls. Holding Shift to run was a bit weird and in the reunite level, I had issue with the right character seeming to not have coyote time, so jumping felt a little unresponsive there.

But that's basically it! Creative level design, creative concept, cute art style, beautiful execution, all that makes this a solid experience!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the comment. It's always the same bad issues we have (and water levels). Next time for a speedrun game like that we will not put shift inputs.

Otherwise, we had implemented the coyote time. But maybe there is a problem with it.

But thanks. Really constructive^^

I don't say this just to be nice, but this was easily the BEST implementation of the theme. Most other entries are just platformers with no relation to the theme but this one is just incredible. Had a lot of fun playing, such a well rounded experience! My time was 722!

The level design was really creative too! My favorite level was the one where everything was zoomed in! So creative, lots of 5 stars from me!

Developer(+1)

Sry, YOUR game was the best implementation of the theme. Don't be that humble.

Submitted(+1)

loved this idea, I didn't really read any of the starting text stuff and once I realised it was just the level but with a different twist each time I really liked the concept!

Developer

Yeah some people didn't realised it at the begining. But yes it's litterally the title of the game. Thanks for the comment^^

Wow!

Nice take on the theme! The graphics were great and had so much style. The mechanics were so varied and challenging, too!

Submitted(+1)

I really liked that there were so many different mechanics and some really challenging levels. Great entry!

cool idea with different mechanics. great concept, I really love the art style. It would be great if the move speed was a little faster by default.
