Character controller feels nice. Player health could be shown somewhere. Music was enjoyable. Particle effects were great!

Fun game with really smooth movement and jumping. Loved the combat mechanics such as the dashing and attacking and the summoning was a really nice touch as well.  I think it be good to add instructions for the controls. Other than that, this was a great game!

Great controls, both platforming and combat felt pretty satisfying, but the summoned skeletons felt a bit weak compared to the player's attack and seemed like an afterthought, more than a core gameplay mechanic.

Nice graphics and controller. Key binding choices (most games use WASD, etc.) made it awkward to get started, but it was fun after I got used to that!

The combat combo system was cool. Was a little hard to navigate fighting and not falling back to the bottom with spikes. Very good for a first combat game though! I have yet to do that myself!

The movement and feeling is great, dashing and jumping feels good and the combat is quite rewarding, even if dealing/taking damage lacked a bit of feedback (is there a way to know my health?).

However, I disliked the control scheme, the hand placement is really odd ^^'. Jumping not being mapped on the spacebar is very unatural and I kept confusing my actions. Also, I didn't manage to drop from platforms, so I got softlocked in a room ^^'.

Overall, it's a good game, I really enjoyed the general feeling and ambiance, it just lacks a bit of polish, which is expected for a 7-days jam game. Good job =)!

The artstyle & the animations are great. Also the controls are really dynamic and fluid. It's super fun to run through the levels like a fury dashing everywhere and slaying imps by dozens.

Tho I feel that the game is in a early stage of development and can by so much better with more features.

A few "quick to implement" features that could enhance a lot the player experience can be:

  • A way to know the player current health.
  • How many skeletons can be invoke.
  • Some feedbacks on damage received (both by the player and by the enemies).

It is really satisfying to play and I'm sure it has a great potential honestly but it feels like it lacks more clarity in the actions and balancing but, of course, this is a jam so we're all running against the clock.

Anyway good job on this one and keep it up! :D

I fell in a hole in the room to the left of start and i couldnt get out

the control here are very smooth and the animation is just rlly gr8. the problem i had was the jump time i think was a little bit too fast for my liking. it would be very nice if it added like a sound fx for like jumping , slashing, summoning, i think it would enhance the experience more. but overall a nice solid one :D

So, first of all, I loved it for the first sight, brought back many memories. Controls very fluid, loved the gore, and the idea. Gameplay is very responsive, animations are cool, music fits, really nice.

Yet, I could not enjoy the game due to the controls of it, super unnatural to me, I badly wanted up arrow or space for jump, and not Z. Also I did not seem to able to anything with the skellies, so I was quite alone in the game, with my skellies watching a platform below.

If you polish this according to the comments, I think it can be a cool game !
