Binding of Isaac inspired gameplay is always a plus for me, fun scaling mechanic so I found myself playing for a long while, good stuff!

I'm addicted. I'd love to play this with dual analog sticks. The money saving above 100 is a nice touch, that really helped me accelerate progress. I'd definitely come back to this if you continue adding features!

Wow! looks professionally made game. Super polished, great choice of music. My favourite bit is the little robot that follows you

This is a really good game! Impressive that you made all the systems with buying upgrades, getting minions, procedural generation and so on, in such a short time! Even boss battles! Somehow a bug turned me invincible after a while, so I ended upp getting very far (though I should have died many times). In the end i quit, because it took so long time to kill a single enemy with my unupgraded weapon.

I have two small suggestions.

  1. At one point, I clicked the menu by mistake because it appeard so fast after I died. Perhaps a slight delay with gradual fading out to the menu?
  2. It was also a bit unclear to me whether I should wait to die to get back to the upgrade room. First, I thought so, and put a lot of upgrades on "keep scraps after death". Then I noticed "go to room" in the menu, so I went for a big raid and collected loads of scrap, and then clicked "go to room" before I died. And LOST IT ALL 😱 Why is "go to room" even in the menu if it's worse than dying? If there is a reason, at least there should be a warning "you will lose all your scrap".

Despite those details, this is one of the best games I've played this jam. Great work! 😄

Wow, super polished! :D The flow and gameplay loop feel really solid and fun. Loved the kick me sign on some of the enemies, nice touch :)! Great job!

Developer

Someone noticed it! ahahaha thank you very much!

This is the kinda game I would play as a kid and made me want to become a game dev. Great job!

Developer(+1)

*blushing* Thank you very much for the kind words!

Amazing game! Very fun and intuitive! The little robot that can follow you is also very cute!

Developer

Thank you! :D

Great submission! Gameplay is snice and cool art.

A great game with good level of polishing and fun gameplay but as other people suggested i too suggest about crosshair. Apart from this it is a great and polished game 👌

Please do check mine too😇

Submitted(+1)

Nice game ! I really liked the amount of content, the boss fights were a plus ! Maybe you should add a crosshair because I often lose my mouse on the white background. You could maybe add some feedback when the player hits an enemy.

Developer

Thank you for your advise and feedback on ROB.O.T.S! We really appreciate it!

Submitted(+2)

Great game!

Art and gameplay where fun. The boss fight was cool.

The only improvement I'd wish for would be a crosshair mouse cursor that has a better contrast with the background.

Developer

Thank you very much! Yep, the cursor is one of the things more asked we'll add it for sure in a next version of the game ;)

For me, this is almost a perfect game considering it was made in a week. Here are my stats.

Money = Infinite Health = 2xx (infinite) My dmg = 501 Drone dmg = 501 Income = 120x

Developer

Thank you a lot, I'm happy you enjoyed our game :)

Submitted

Aye for sure! I seriously hope you make more xD

Developer

Man, my stats were Infinity + 1 so you better get on my level B-)

kek, thanks for the feedback bro

Submitted

I was seriously trying to! The only reason I couldn’t get there was because I accidentally beat the game Q_Q

Submitted(+1)

Bruh, how do people make such polished games in a few days?

This is epic 🔥👌

Developer

Sleep is not an option as you can imagine! :) Really thank you for your feedback, we know our game is not perfect but we are happy of what we produced! Stay tuned, after the jam we will upload a version with some updates :)

Submitted

please do check out my game

Super complete game!!! Would have loved more enemy variety, but the controls are solid, and the gameplay loop is really fun, good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you a lot! In the original plans, we had more enemies, but the time is our enemy during jams :( for sure we'll consider this for the next update after the jam is finished, thank you again for trying the game and for the feedback!

Submitted(+1)

Yo that's cool ! :D

Even though there is a little disparity in the resolution of the pixel art, gameplay was fun, especially the roguelike aspect !

Good job ! :)

Developer(+1)

Hey, thank you very much! For the art style, you're right there are some elements (like enemies) that have been scaled for UX reasons and so some pixels could be bigger/smaller than we expected. For sure we'll fix all of them in the next versions when the jam will end ;)

Great game! The Gameplay is fun and the art style is cool(although I think the pixel art is too high-res. You should be going for lower res or a hand drawn style. Now it seems like you couldn't decide between the two and you picked something in the middle of that. And you should keep texel density(I dont know how its called in 2d)in mind) . The Feedback when an enemy gets hit isn't there. Thats really important for the feel of your game. some Particle fx or a flashing enemy would have been great. Second best game I've played on this jam till now

If you have had one day more to polish the game it would have been just perfect. 4/5

Developer (2 edits) (+1)

yeah for the feedback we wanted to at least have a sound but couldn't implement it in time sadly, we'll definitely fix that post jam (most requested feature for sure!). For the artstyle you're right in the sense that we were looking at both illustration and pixel, we landed on this hi-res pixel art that reminded us of DS games and especially something like Wario Ware. Being raster stuff we targeted a 1080p resolution so having a higher-res screen may result in some more blurred/discontinuous visuals

Developer(+1)

Thanks A LOT for the constructive feedback. We certainly wanted to add a lot of things, but there wasn't much time for that. many features took more time than we thought. We certainly will add some stuff post-jam.

Thanks! Shaking is a great idea, did you also watch Sakurai's youtube videos? We'll try to implement that or some sort of feedback for sure

Love the 2.5D Top down style reminded me of a futuristic Legends of Zelda!

Developer

Thanks! NES TLOZ and ALTTP were definitely an inspiration

Really impressive work, wish there was a little bit more feedback on how much damage I'm doing to the enemies - but overall this is really great. Clearly lots of thought and work put in, from the menu, to the graphics, to the gameplay. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I definitely agree, we had some audio issues and couldn't include all effects, including when taking damage - we'll fix in 1.1 for sure. Maybe also a bit of flashing on ROB's sprite? We'll work on it!

Submitted(+2)

tried it and liked it. cool submission

Developer

Thank you, and also thank for the time you spent to play it, we really appreciate it!
