How does you game fit the theme?
Space Invader Clone with 2 Turrets. You need 2 Turrets with the same color or a timer starts. when the timer hits 0 you die. So most of the time the turret is not alone

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I made all of the code and the assets(without the Main Menu Music) during the Jam. Klettercraft created the Main Menu Music during Jam.

I like the idea of swapping out the turrets, but for the most part I found it easier to press on in the game if I avoided trying to navigate the bullets to perform a swap. Plus with the second falling block on the screen only when the first is so near to the bottom, if I wasn't sure the same color was coming it might be too late to shoot the first block and bail on the swap. I might be more comfortable with that process if things were scaled down and I could see multiple blocks, despite the extra streams of bullets.

Developer

Thank you for the cool feedback. I wanted to implement an overheating feature that forces the player to swap out turrets more often. I already implemented that and I will release the update post jam. But its also a good idea to let the player see more or to increase the spawn rate.

Great idea but movement was a bit hard.

Nice job! Music can be a bit grating but aside from that great work!

Thank you. Wow your game is really cool.

Cute graphics, a bit cluttered, but a new and interesting turret mechanic! Instructions were very informative, maybe spread over 2 or 3 screens would have helped

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! I've already improved the Instructions page. I will upload that after the jam

A really interesting game idea! It would be cool to add the ability to flip!

Cool Idea. Maybe I'll add that post jam. I'm working on an update for the game to make the tutorial better.

I liked the concept and I thought it was really fun to play! Nice work! Do you mind rating mine when you get a chance?

Cool idea, it breaks my mind to follow two sides and it is really difficult to coordinate. You know, in a good way.

The randomness of the enemies is also a good idea and well implemented with the shooting directions. Sometimes it generates combinations that are close to impossible to escape. When this happens early, it can be frustrating.

Thank you for the nice feedback.

The concept is very well thought out. The difficulty of the game and the sounds took me back to my childhood, reminding me of games on the "Amiga". Nice work and thanks for the experience!

thanks

Liked the concept. I didn't really like how the game played honestly or the art style or the music. I feel if you revisited this idea in the future it could be something very good though. also I did think this very well fit the theme.

Interesting concept, very unique, even though I don't see any hearts on my screen so I don't know how much I can take until game over

Developer(+1)

thank you. I think the hearts are not anchored correctly. that could be the problem.

I love it. Rate mine too.
