Cool game! The movement felt smooth and I loved the ultra high jump! The story bits were a great change from the fighting. I liked that you could hit multiple parts of the boss in order to deal more damage if position yourself well. I think it's a little OP to jump on the bosses head.

Unfortunately I don't enjoy block pushing games because I am too dumb to complete them quickly and if I have the patience to push through I don't have a rewarding feeling. It's more like "Finally, I can move on to the next level"
That said, I didn't play all the levels because, well, I don't like the genre and the puzzles became difficult pretty fast. I stopped one level after the level with two lights, one huge, the other tiny. But the visuals were awesome and clear in what they were conveying. The idea of pushing lights, which define your area of movement, around is extremely clever. The levels were interesting too and provided me with a challenge to overcome. Great game!
Congrats on submitting your first game! I liked the idea of switching between colors and it's cool that the current color is displayed on the character. It's a little small though. It reminded me of the game 'HUE'. The blue color on the belt doesn't match the one of the obstacle. I figure this is because of the color of the sky? But you could also change the cyan color of the belt to blue. Overall, a nice first entry!
Although I collaborated on the game this is my first time playing it because I just did the music and nothing else. I like the art and the parallax effect. The character movement is really fun with the flying and holding to jump higher. I unfortunately fell down on the left side of the map too. I'm happy I could contribute something to the project!
I love the game & level design!!! The difficulty was just perfectly distibuted between the levels. The idea of the bouncy coconuts that you had to throw down made you try to find the safest spot in the level that provides a good spot for shooting as well. The sound effects were satisfying.
One minor issue: It felt unfair to get hit by a bullet after you've already entered the portal and heard the sound effect.
A cool and relaxing game. The music and the visuals make for a cozy atmosphere and the characters don't take themselves seriously. I love the dialogue too. The quests work in a clean way and I didn't encounter any bugs except for the minor one that I will get to now.
Some minor issues: Sometimes the artstyle didn't feel fully coherent. At some points the music stops and it's completely silent (is this supposed to be like that?). By spamming the dodge button and sometimes (I suppose) holding it I could walk around with a rotated sprite after the dodge
Sadly, no team has been formed yet. I'll start to brainstorm a bit when the jam begins, maybe Take a walk and then think more about what I would like to make. Maybe someone will want to form a team until a couple hours from now. I would still be happy to collaborate and talk about some ideas. If that happens I will notify you. But if there will be no other team member in roughly four hours, I'll work alone in this jam (you are only interested in working together if there's already a team, aren't you?)
Is anyone down to collaborate? I unfortunately don't have a portfolio but you can look at my itch io games. I can do all of programming, art, music, sound fx and game design, but I'm pretty mediocre in every part, while sound fx and game design are the worst parts. It doesn't matter to me which parts the collaborator wnts to take. I'd love to work together with somebody as discussion about the game will make the game better and boost our skills faster!
Oh now I can imagine how hard it was to design the audio. Oh btw. I just came up with a pretty silly idea for the hit feedback in audio: Maybe it could work to play the hit sound on the "rhythm" of the shoot sound. I dunno if this could work but I thought the idea was funny and it could work with the rapid fire rate
This stealth game is an unusual take on the theme of the jam. Necromancy may not fit so well with the game, but regardless it's fun to search for the people wearing the clothes the necromancer needs. It felt extra rewarding if you remembered the position of a certain villager. The quotes were cool. The audio was good as well as the graphics. You did a really good job at making sprites fitting to the package. Great game that stands out!
Every Game Jam has at least one game which could be a full game. This game is a really polished one with great puzzle design, and a good amount of that! The graphics, music and sound effects are good too.
I must admit that I didn't make it through the whole game as I get frustrated with puzzle games farely quickly. I made it to the level with the many conveyor belts and the green skulls. Sorry
I love the idea of using the needle as a weapon. That's pretty creative. The art is nice but I wish there were animations and the player wouldn't just be a white cube. The sounds and the music are good. The game left me wanting more which is a good sign that I had fun.
Two Bugs I encountered:
The music doesn't loop. You can fix this by checking 'loop' on the AudioSource Component.
The rotation of the needle goes crazy when you move it slowly or move the pointer on it. But I wouldn't know how to fix that
Let's get that out of the way: For a long time I didn't really know what to do. I couldn't find any explanations for the features. The tutorial seems to be exactly the same as the normal game. But now I get some of them. For instance I didn't get that you collect body parts and especially that you'd need a needle to sew them together. Now that I'm writing this I feel pretty dumb because it just makes sense. But I still don't know what's the effect of the green acid.
The graphics were charming and the color palette was good. I find the mechanic of enemies damaging each other on contact cool. Unfortunatly I got stuck in a group of enemies that were already colliding multiple times and I had to wait there until they got killed. The sounds were well chosen and fitting to the situation. I also liked the upgrades
