Silly and charming. Nice work!
After getting the grand score of -470, I can say I am satisfied. This game was fun and silly, and I enjoyed playing it! Not sure what to say, it is just a good funny game
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
What I’ve seen so far is cool, but once I got to the bar I had a problem as the text goes off the screen and I can’t interact with it (I’m playing on Steam Deck). I won’t rate it as I haven’t played the full game, but I like the first part! If you can get a Mac build up I’d be happy to give it another try.
I didn't know the game could run on a Stream Deck. I might be able to upload a Mac build later, though I haven't had much success with making working Mac builds in the past.
I uploaded a Mac build, I don't have anything I can test it with, but it might work?
Works great. Congrats, you have a working Mac build! Love the game, very bizarre but also everything kinda makes sense in its own strange way. The characters are fun, and the radio is a nice feature. I love the little jokey things like “I am an engine” and “I am Bar Bob’s wife”. Good fun all round!
Thanks! Glad it worked for once.
Great. I love the homour. The Grapics look greak too. I got the karma 0 and karma -500 ending! The radio is cool.
Thanks!
Very interesting game, potato and tomato revolution is amazing haha, enjoy the process of play:)
Thanks! I'll give your game I try next time I get a chance.
Trevor seems kinda untrustworthy. Pretty hilarious premise and unexpected world I wasn't quite ready for. I'm all about the food/animal related characters though. The radio was also a really nice touch, makes you feel like can actually affect the world you're a part of.
It felt a little rude sending the player back the beginning for the silly endings, mainly because the initial puzzles seemed a bit too trial & error or time consuming, and being forced to repeat them felt unforgiving. I would have been thrilled if the game over sent me back to the beginning of station one instead of the very beginning. It seems you could stand to either lower your camera's clipping minimum, or make your character collider a touch bigger, to prevent the oddball camera clipping when you get to close to walls/environments.
It's quite charming altogether, the little quirks really make it enjoyable, even if it's quite rough around the edges. I got some serious N64 vibes interacting with all the goofball characters.
Thanks for the feedback! I only had about 1 day to do polishing, and I wasn't able to quickly fix the clipping issue, so that didn't get fixed then. Making the collider bigger wasn't helping for some reason, but I'll try lowering the clipping minimum. I had been considering making the game put you back at the beginning of the station, but thought it might not be obvious enough that the game reset, but I can see how that would be annoying. Lastly, the first puzzle with the levers, I don't think anyone ended up understanding it properly, but 2 of the levers were in the 1 and 3 o'clock positions.
At the end I had karma -680 and it was funny
Thanks for playing, and you must have done some terrible things to people.
Weird and fun game, I had some laughts with it! well done :D
Thanks for trying it!
Really good game so far, I love the "atmosphere" hehe get it, anyways the atmosphere is pretty chilling I love the feeling that you're chilling out in space and listening to some radio, but some puzzles are a bit buggy but in the end I love the atmosphere of the game! Good job!
Edit : Okay I replayed it, and I LOVE IT! I was a bit stuck on the Keypad code and it turns out it's a Simon says minigame, after finished the code, I can go to Station One, and when I go to Station One I saw a chicken fixing his pick up truck, then I saw this Penguin and poke one of his plushies, it roars and it scared the heck out of me, and then I saw this
PotatoTomato guy, Trevor and were planning to explode the Giant Space Tomato, and then after I retrieved the explosive from the Pengui-sphere, Trevor came with me, and dancing on my ship. And then I travel to the Giant Space Tomato, exploding it just for the Potatoes, I gotta say it was a "blast".
It made me laugh, and I love walking around Station One with the Radio on listening to Ted, the voice actor on the radio nails it and the music too! My favorite part is when you travel planet to planet, and you can see it moving visually which I love it so far. This game have some charms in it, and I love it, and all the actions you take is quite hilarious.
Please, I look forward to the full or extended version of the game, like many planets to go around to. I love it, it's bizarre in a charming way.
Which puzzles were not working for you?
Like that keypad code the button pressing animations isn't right like when I pressed the green button, it instantly plays the red button pressing, I'm sorry I'm not that good at puzzles, I can't see some hints so I was guessing it out.
Weird, I haven't seen that issue before. It should just be you press the buttons in the same order they automatically get pressed in, like the memory game Simon.
Okay then! I'll play the game again just in case it fixed it before I edit my review!
Thanks a lot for trying it out again!
I got about three of the endings, very interesting absurdist plot. There seemed to be a lot of recorded dialogue for the news radio station, and it was interesting zipping around the galaxy in my train. I did clip out of the space station once, but when I walked towards my train I just popped back in it so you must have prepared for such an occasion. Cool stuff!
Thanks! Our voice actor made about 10 minutes of radio content on that channel.
I wasn't sure what i was doing, but i like it a lot. I got the engine from the egg planet and gave it to the chicken to fix the truck. I collect a piano and a fish and then died in the quantum door. I enjoyed the radio and was surprised by how long it went before looping, great voice acting. I want to see more of this game.
Thanks! There's about 3-4 other endings you can get by continuing Trevor the Tomato's or BAR BOB's questlines.
Great work!
Thanks!
The spaceship and space looked really cool. My favorite radio-channel was the Slap. Awesome job!
Thanks!
The music box was 10/10.
Thanks! It was stupidly difficult to get working.
