Nice idea! The game was great, keep up, very cool!

Really cool idea, I did struggle with having to aim at the hologram to switch. If time slowed when switching could make it a bit easier. Great game!

Good. Game. I like that when you try to switch to another copy, and that copy is in the wall, it won't allow you. Keep it up!

I loved the idea, it was fun to play.

Developer

Thanks, we had a lot of fun making it! What was your favorite part of the idea?

I loved the general idea of swithing between the characters. But I would like to see some puzzles maybe. some doors or walls that you can't pass as a hologram? Or maybe only one color can pass. Idk.

This is a fun concept for a game! I liked the different types of enemies you had to hit with a specific color, and that you could use the switching to evade attacks/get trough walls. The sound design is also very fitting! I just wish you could change without having to hover the mouse. Because you also use it to rotate the player, it was very difficult for me to quickly change characters. Just using space for instance to jump to the next one would feel more natural. I also wish there were (more?) savepoints, when I died I went all the way back to the start..

Developer

Hey thanks! We knew we had that in the very beginning, a character that used 4 holograms (fake versions of themself) to switch between to defeat enemies. We really thought the mechanic felt great! The team ended up moving towards the mouse click solution because it felt more controllable. After making it Space Bar to switch, we found out the feedback of jumping between players wasn't quite what we were looking for (especially when we had to switch to a differently available hologram when one was in a wall). We settled on the mouse click to give the play more control on where they went. Thanks for the comments and rating!

This was fun! I enjoyed swapping between the characters to dodge projectiles and plan my positioning for the next character I want to attack with. The music and sound effects fit the theme of the game very well. As some general feedback - I would have liked to have some hotkeys for swapping between the characters rather than mouseover. Either having spacebar rotate through all characters or having dedicated keys for each would have been nice. For consistency's sake it would have also been nice if the disk shooter enemies had a different colored projectile than the player's. Neither of those stopped me from having fun though, and overall it was a quick enjoyable play! Great job guys!

This is a very unique shooter that really makes you use the other versions of yourself. Also, all of the weapons were unique and it was very fun. Although, I think that the audio could improve because it gets kind of annoying hearing all of those sound being played repeatedly. But overall it was a really fun game and I enjoyed it. Also, I would love it if you could rate my game.

Super fun game, I completed it and was very enjoyable. Excellent level design and a great example on how to do tutorials well, design good levels and make a good and satisfying progression. Congratulations for your very polished submission!

The game is very interesting! The different characters play very differently, and you can use them to cleverly switch positions. The art is interesting and the game is easily made clear. It is very loose with the theme though. My main issue is that the enemy's shields only have one hit, and they themselves only have one hit without shields. If shields have health, they would be much more fun to play against/ This is especially true with the final boss, which is mostly just switching quickly between modes. Overall, still quite fun though.

The idea is brilliant, but I felt like I was already using the mouse to aim in a way. Really fun to play!

Great Idea!  I liked how you introduced new gameplay elements in a way that they were easy to grasp then layered on new challenges.

Very hard, but very cool!  I like how it give input that you can't switch when the other player is off screen. I feel like that is something that from a developer's standpoint is taken for granted but I wouldn't have understood without it!
