This game is absolutely amazing! The pixel art si really nice, the controls feel responsive and everything works fine to make this a great game! Event though there is like one mechanic, I enjoyed this a lot and kept triying the speedrun to beat my own records

One of the best games I've tried so far for this jam. Love the idea of having to bounce again once you fall, instead of just restarting the level. A great atmosphere with lovely art and awesome level design!

Really good game! I like really like the gameplay and the idea of bieng able to jump in a top down game. Very nice visuals and music!

A short, polished, and fun experience. A great take on the theme with controls that feel good and precise with easy-to-read visuals! A weird idea that could be turned into a full game!

Great game, I love how you've included a how to play level at the start with all the credits and shout outs actually in the game. Player controls great and the art is really pleasing too.  I'd add a level timer to turn the pressure on. Also some things that I thought would be great would be a small bounce when landing on beds and sofas, the ability to turn off check points (hard mode) and this game is crying out for a speed run mode. Loved the game and for the record, I want to live in a house with this many pool tables :)

Love this game, graphics, audio, and gameplay are top-notch!

This game is so much fun! It's so clever and fluid, I am very happy after playing this!

This was harder than I expected. But it hit the small edge of not being too hard so I kept trying and trying. very nicely balanced.

I really love the idea of being able to "preview" the level once the lava got you!

Wow, brings back nostalgia.

Controls a little hard, but really cool game!

Fun game! Feels really good when you get those sprint jumps and skip a few obstacles :D Having to walk back to retry feels like something that'd suck in theory, but I found it strangely nice for some reason.

You nailed it with the theme. When the character falls off some furniture, and the lava disappears it totally feels like the kid's "nobody saw that!" moment. And then the running back to the last cushion to do it right. Super cute.

I was looking at random jam games and I ran into this one and was like "Oh shit, Vimlark" xD

Nifty idea, and the game was well-rounded and polished. It'd be cool to see some sort of giant monster like a dragon or something trying to stop you from wrecking stuff all over the house. Then you hit the floor and it's just your mom.

Jumping was hard to wrap my head around. I got better at it as I went but never quite mastered it.

Cool game!

That was really fun! The idea really fits the theme as well! I loved how you made so when you "die" the carpet is revealed and we don't to start it all again! Great work ^^

That's such a creative and unique idea and so good and polished implementation. Amazing work!
