In what way does your game fit the theme?
Nothing says "Let There Be Chaos" more than a baby with a chain gun!
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes,! Code, Art, music, and sound effects were made from scratch. A few sound effects were sourced from freesound.org.

Wow that was a very out there concept, and that baby is too strong for this universe. Although I dunno, is the dad stronger? I mean he did chase after the baby and catch it on every single level, even through space. A bigger question though, how does the baby keep getting a mini gun, someone hide the miniguns!!!
Besides that though, there's some interesting ideas and a new little overall story throughout. The popups were great, the baby was dangerous and the environment was interesting in trying to survive the minigun going crazy.
That's bout it, a nice, kinda interesting mechanics wise game, with a kinda funny setting and overall pretty well executed. The only thing I'd really say is the audio repeated quite a lot, which with the baby sounds definitely got pretty annoying. Otherwise pretty awesome.
This game is what I would imagine to be a jam game. It is short, creative and seems finished. It is a very interesting concept and it´s fun too. We have nothing to complain about
Nice job with this game and I really don't have much else to say which is new as I usually have like one thing to say after I say "I really don't have much else to say" but I got no recommendations, advantages, or disadvantages to talk about... just good job and that's it... (I guess I did have one more thing to say and that was my lack of something else to say)
I found myself chuckling at the sheer absurdity of this premise and the gameplay. The presentation made me think this was going to be a little lackluster (especially that super loud audio), but I couldn't have been more wrong. This game was ridiculous and hilarious and a lot of fun. I found myself trying to find the best time to duck from cover and maneuver my way to the rampaging babe and failing a lot, but still coming back for more. And when I finally finished that first level, I was surprised to find more. I expected it to be super brief, but I was delighted to find a few more stages and even a bit of a story. I think it could have benefited from a dash of some sort? Maybe that would have made it too easy. There were a few times where I found myself chasing after the baby and it was too fast.
I really liked the addition of the destructible terrain. It adds a sort of soft timer to the level, putting pressure on the player to make a move.
You did a great job on this. Excellent jam game. Well done!
One of the more unique entries I've played so far. It definitely feels like the kind of concept that could only come out of a game jam.
This is usually the part where I spend a solid paragraph talking about what I liked, what bugs I found, etc., but I really don't have much to say. The game is definitely fun, and it's short enough that I couldn't find any bugs worth mentioning. I enjoyed it enough that I'd love to see more of it, but it feels like a pretty open-and-shut idea, that I don't think would benefit much from a post-jam clean-up.
Honestly though, you should be proud of that. It's pretty rare for a jam game to feel like it's pretty much explored the entirety of it's idea, without either the idea being bad, or the game getting stale. Overall pretty solid.
My entry's below if you want to give it a try. Not quite as unique as this one, but I'm still pretty proud of it. Hope to see you in another jam!
This game cracked me up, the sound effects combined with the child flinging around the map with a minigun was amazing!
Pretty fun concept. Though it was really hard to dodge lines of bullets at times when the baby is randomly bouncing around lol
Unique to say the least! Plenty of fun and takes some time to get the hang of. Great job and keep it up!
Great concept! Pretty fun trying to reach the same thing you're also trying to hide from.
What a chaotic idea XD I really most be a bad parent if I let my child play with that machinegun over and over again... The game has this really interesting balance where you need to avoid bullets, but the bullet are coming from the very thing you need to catch. You really have to duck behind cover and then make a sprint to the baby before it spins around and shoots at you. A really interesting combination and one that really does create ultimate chaos.
The few points of feedback I have is that sometimes I just ran straight to the baby at the start of the level (usually by accident) and immediately won. This felt a bit cheaty I guess XD Another thing is that sometimes the hitboxes of certain objects were a bit large. For example, I kept trying to move inbetween the tv and the couch in the first level because it felt like there was enough space, but actually the hitboxes there would not allow me to fit.
Great, weird and funny submission! I had a lot of fun :D
The game has some great mechanics being a collector and bullet hell game. Would be much better if the graphics with particles are slightly better and the sounds a little annoying after some time. Nice game though. Hope you can give our game a look
