In what way does your game fit the theme?
Dancing was never chaotic enough, so we decided to invite rascals and monsters from other dimensions to spice up the havoc for your night parties ;]

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All assets were made from scratch. As for code, the game was made using Unity, and while the main code was all written by ourselves, some plugins were used too, such as DOTween (was used for the ease of making animations).

Such a great game! All the music, UI, gameplay and graphics came together very nicely. I had a lot of fun and props to the whole team. In this Game Jam, I learned first-hand how hard coordinating a team really is so congratulations to you all! :D

Great polish! The graphics and effects were all-around awesome. The gameplay was pretty nice too but some of the collision aspects to the enemies were a little buggy or something because sometimes they would slide around after moving or not get hit.

Definitely the most graphically impressive game and perhaps the most polished game I've come across so far in this Game Jam. The music and sound effects also fit the overall theme of the game very well. The gameplay is also interesting, but I think it's a bit simple and doesn't get chaotic quickly, at least as long as I'm playing. Also, shoutouts to online high score lists! (I have them in my game too, and I know it can be annoying to implement them...).

Overall definitely worth a try, looks like one of the most "completed" games of this jam, so kudos to the team developing this thing!

VisuallyI like the mix of 3D models and pixel art, and the game just overall looks pretty good and polished. The rhythm based movement is very Crypt of the NecroDancer, (which is a great game,) and I found the gameplay in this to be pretty fun and chaotic. Good entry, your team did a great job in a week.

This was actually really IMPRESSIVE! This definitely deserves a top rank in the jam. Everything about this game is polished, the art, audio, post-processing, gameplay, camera shake, movement, EVERYTHING. This was an awesome entry! There was even a leaderboard (idk if it's online) but definitely a nice touch. Really no complaint about this game other than the fact that there is no pause button (or maybe there is but I'm just dumb). Yeah, there is just really nothing else to say

Developer

Thank you for the kind words! Yes, the leaderboards are online, and were made using “Leaderboard Creator”, a.k.a a free tool of mine :]

The game does have a pause button, it is the Escape key, this is stated in the Controls table in the game’s page. Beware though, pausing the game will not allow you to unpause it due to a bug. We’ve fixed this and after the jam we plan to release a new update. Thank you for playing!

You guys did an awesome job, very original take on the theme and It did become a bit chaotic on times.

Considering the team size, there were a bit things I noticed and wanted to share:
- UI was not always clear - for me this was my less favorite part of this entry. Hard to see what was selected (especially on the settings and level selection ).
- I had a number of glitches between the scenes - but nothing game-breaking.

Also - and this was the thing that hit me most: WebGL wasn't working, so I had to download. To see a price tag - even if it's something you can skip - does not fit a Game Jam in my opinion.

Overall: very good entry!

Hello! Thanks for the great feedback! Technically, the game does work on WebGL, as we tested it on a localhost. But due to the fact that the compression format was selected as ‘Brotli’, the WebGL build is not playable on itch.io, and it is something we noticed after the jam had ended. About the suggested price tag - we removed it for your, and others’ convenience.

Amazing work on this team! Massive crypt of the necrodancer vibes - a fave game of ours. My only criticism is that i feel the beat counter would sometimes desync from the song  or vice versa which made it a bit hard to keep the multiplier.  But apart from that, awesome game!

Developer(+1)

This game was inspired by many games, one of them being the Crypt of the Necrodancer. Thanks for playing!

This was pretty cool. Very well polished and fun to play. I feel like it took a little too long to really get exciting but otherwise fantastic!

Developer(+1)

Hey ! Thanks for your feedback also we will keep that in mind and try to make it better

Fun vibe, I loved the 2D pixel art in a 3D world, very cool :)

It was also super chaotic to make a rhythm game where you don't have to follow the rhythm!  Clever idea and well put together by your team.

Would appreciate if you checked out our game as well.  Cheers!
