In what way does your game fit the theme?
Charlie, our deviant detective, rewinds recorded alibis to reconstruct them into confessions.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
We wrote all of the code ourselves. Many textures, models, and soundtracks were pre-made, but the rest was made during the jam.

The cat is one hell of an Easter Egg. I absolutely loved the idea.

Wow, such an engaging story! I also love the aesthetics and the innovative take on the theme.

Developer

Thank you! We're all really enamored with your game's aesthetic as well!

This may very well be, the best game made for this game-jam .

Developer

That is incredible praise. Thank you so much!

The level of detail here in the music, voice acting and art is amazing. The concept is great, its like la noir in reverse. your story really ties the mechanic in to the game. I did sometimes find it difficult to record short phrases. Great job!

Developer

Short phrases are definitely a pain, but I'm glad you enjoyed the game overall! Now go back and play in CAT MODE!

Cat mode? alright reloading I'm in.

This game feels so amazing. Wish it had more levels to do.

Developer

Us too! We were considering adding more levels at first, but scoping down was the only way we could finish on time.

This is a really great game and i love the concept, for some reason it didnt work on my pc so i couldnt get past the tutorial but i really enjoyed the idea of it

Developer

Hmm... did you try playing the webGL version by any chance? If so, the download version should run a lot smoother on your PC. Give it a try sometime!

THIS GAME HAS ITS PARTS SO WELL MADE IT ALL FLOWS SO NATURALLY, THE MUSIC, THE NOIR ATMOSPHERE, THE VOICE ACTING AND THE SIMPLE MECHANIC!

Developer

Thank you!

WOW! The concept itself and interpretation for the theme is really smart and cool, i love how the graphics, soundtracks and voices really blend well together, it really created that vintage feel, the game play is interesting and keeps you on your feet trying to connect lines that would sound like the perfect alibi, overall what a unique game that's fun to solve and the atmosphere it gives is really amazing, CONGRATS on such a well made game!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for the praise, and congrats to you as well on a great game!

Amazing Game! Loved everything, the art, design, concept, mechanics and sound. This game looks really polished. Played every level and the CAT MODE is AWESOME!  ヽ(=^・ᆺ・^=)丿

The only thing bugging me is when you have to record short words (like I & at)  it just record the next word as well, maybe because I'm playing webGL.

Overall this game is really Well Done! Please keep developing this game in the future. ヽ(=^・ω・^=)丿

Developer

Yeah, the WebGL version is kind of buggy at the moment. We're glad you enjoyed the game otherwise! ヽ(=^・ᆺ・^=)丿

Feels very polished. Only some smaller phrases were very hard to get recorded, which was a pain in the ass. The idea is nice and innovative. I think a lot of people came up with the idea of casettes and rewinding, but nothing like this. Seems like you have a team behind this with all the voice acting and final polish.

Developer

Yeah, timing the smaller phrases is pretty tough. We learned a lot from making this, though, so I think we can fix it for next time.

I loved this game, its very polished and fun!

Developer

Thanks!

Great game! I like the voice acting, art style, and the concepts to finding the hidden message. Would be cool to have a slow motion button on the recording. Had a hard time recording the small words. I probably have bad timing skills lol.

Slow motion was something I considered after the jam was done. It's certainly something to think about for next time. Thanks for the feedback!
