Fun game! I loved the humour in the writing, and the graphics were really charming
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it :D
So much potential here! The visuals are great, the opening dialogue is fantastic, and the art amazing. I could see this being even better if you'd done a simple thing like putting a limit on the number of one item you can get and emphasising the player spending more time manically running around looking for nice button combos. Or even changing up the keys every few seconds. Regardless, amazing work, well done!
Thanks you very much! I totally agree, I was looking for a way to avoid spamming only one item, but I couldn't think of anything at the time lol. That's a very good and simple solution. Thanks a lot for your feedback, I really apreciate it!
Hey awesome stuff! Game looks great and its made me actually tired of spamming buttons LOL.
The goal for 1500 is crazy i have no idea what item youd need to spam, i did also have trouble figuring out the controls as the mouse was so sensitive it dropped me from using the shopping cart, ended up being better to not use the mouse for that. Other than that, amazing stuff and congrats on submitting the game!
Thanks you a lot! Sorry for making you press so many buttons haha
You're right, the controls are a little weird at start and the mouse sensitivity was too high, but I'm glad that you like it! :D
A cute gaming with neat soundtrack. The animations for the buttons moving up and down are really sell the frantic nature of the game. The button/s prompt to take the product where at first unituitve but I later figured out that you needed to press all of the buttons to fill the cart. The game feels it could be realy fun and chaotic party game where you compete with the other shoppers for limited slots
Thanks you so much! I'm glad that you like it!
I agree, the instruction to press the buttons is a bit abrupt, could have been better presented. But I'm glad the animation conveyed the idea of a frenzy game :D
That's a great idea, I was thinking about a multiplayer game, and a chaotic party game sounds very fun!
Try out my game and leave some feeback that would be much appreciated
Enjoyable. i like the idea
Thanks you! :D
Nice art and music!
Cool idea on having us go through the ailes and get the best products. The spam mecanich was very good and reminded me of cookie clicker, just fall into a zen mode and spam my keyboard. Well done.
Thank you very much! I also think the game has ended up resembling a clicker, haha.
A very cool concept! I wish there's a way to know earlier that the goal is $1.5K as I spammed my keys and grabbed the first thing I encountered.
Thanks you a lot! I agree, it would have been better to know the goal beforehand. The first instinct is always to grab the first thing you find and spam the buttons, haha
Really like the idea but it seemed like finding the large cake/whatever that’s one press for $2.99 is the most money per key presses you can get? But that also takes…. a lot of keypresses to beat $1500 😵 I think the challenge of maneuvering the carts was fun but ultimately it came down to find the best button mash spot for you and then mash. Pretty cute all in all though! Really curious about the dialogue addon too :)
I'm not sure that cake is the one that makes you the most money because you can spam it more lol, but you're right, the gameplay boils down to finding the best place to mash the buttons. It would have been different if there had been CPUs, which was the original idea, where you could have stolen their carts too, but I didn't have time :,)
The dialog plugin will be available very soon! If you use Godot, you might find it very useful :D
Thanks you so much for your feedback! :D
cool & fun game, really like the concept!
Thanks you a lot! :D
This is such a fun and cute game! Anything with a time limit honestly stresses me out, but the bright and colorful aesthetics help ease the anxiety haha :)
Quick feedback:
Overall, I really enjoyed this game, and I would love to see a multiplayer version of this! I can definitely see how chaotic it can be. Amazing work to pull off in one week! Great job!
The time limit stresses me out too haha It's good to know that the aesthetics gives you a better feeling :)
I hadn't thought about a multiplayer version, that would be interesting! I was going to include CPUs to compite at the same time, but I didn't have time :,)
I really want to make the multiplayer version now to see all the chaos haha
Thanks you so much!! I really appreciate your feedback and I'm happy that you like it! :D
Honestly, this really looks like something from a critically-acclaimed Steam game, because does the visuals give off a la Cassette Beasts, which is actually another game made in Godot. I really love on how you need to buy as much groceries as possible, he dialogue, and the fact that the entire game is 2.5D. Plus, I was honestly kind of surprised that this was all made by one person, because for a game like this, it could take up to 3 to 5 people. Now, I didn't really play the game that much because between this game and my laptop, it was having some tiny performance issues. Nevertheless, great game AND great concept, Kazy! 4.75/5 stars!
Also, could you please take the time and try out my game, Owlet and the Biscuit Tower? Thanks a lot if you do, and I'll appreciate the feedback and support you give (Or in my case, EVERYONE gives.)
Thank you a lot!! I really appreciate your feedback!
I'm sorry about the performance issues on your laptop. There were many models rendering at the same time. I use occlusion culling, but I can't do any more in the time remaining :,)
I also tried your game, I really love it! So frustrating haha
The opening dialogue and the camera switching really cool, giving it a movie-like feel!
I found the mouse sensitivity a bit too high, and it took me a while to get used to it. Maybe a setting like this would help a bit. But it didn't ruin the experience.
Thinking with this game in real life, this idea of a supermarket owner rewarding customers who fill their carts with the highest amount is an interesting marketing strategy, haha.
I really enjoy making the opening haha, I glad that you like it! :D
Oh I didn't notice the high sensitivity, I used a trackpad during the development, so it felt right for me, but I didn't think about other devices lol, thanks you for let me know!
And of course, a visionary marketing strategy haha ;)
I wasn't too comfortable with the controls but after playing a little i got used to it, and i loved the game, the pixel art is Awesome and the Graphics were Really Well made, Rated 9/10 :D
Please try my game as well, i worked really hard on it :D
Racookie Heist
Thanks you so much!! You're right, takes a little understand the controls sorry for that :,) but I glad that you like it!
I played your game too, It's so interesting and beautiful , nice work! :D
Thankyou 😊😊😊
The controls were a bit weird but the game was very good.
Nice game. Cool graphics.
Cool game, with nice visuals.
Keep it up!
Really enjoyed it, 3D pixel art aesthetic is great, it's fun to dash around filling up the trolley. Hit a few bugs and the controls are a little unruly but overall great job!
Thanks you!! Yeah, the game have some weird issues, but I'm glad that you like it!
