I really liked the gameplay, although ran into a couple of minor bugs, where my health would display incorrectly (basically always showing 3 hearts) and the wave ending earlier than it's supposed to, leaving zombies on screen. Nonetheless, I had a ton of fun playing this game!

I really like the whole artstyle, pairs with the gameplay really well and I like the concept of having to retrieve the bullet every time you shoot, but I wish there was a soundtrack or something, but besides that really nice job!

I think the game is really well thought out and the feature it has work really well, the only thing missing is maybe some sound feedback when you pick up cookies, the bullet or kill a zombie. The game's soundscape feels a lil barren.

Still really impressive for a 1 person game.

I really liked the bouncy bullet mechanic and the fetching it back [Despite my lack of skill not allowing me to utilize it well. But that's on me :'( ]

The game over menu did bug on me, making it so I couldn't interact after failing (Which I did a lot), and I would have to reload the page to replay every time.

Additionally I think that, if there was a satisfying sound for picking up the bullet and the biscuits, I could literally ignore the bugs and just play for hours.

TLDR: Need a bit of polish, but still a great game.

Very creative mechanic with fetching the bullet and fire it back, which is pretty unique. Though the game is kinda small (resolution wise on web) so it is kinda hard to see where your bullet is sometimes (either that or my eyes are really bad). Best upgrade is probably the bounce upgrade since it makes the shooting way more fun than the initial 1 singular bounce

This core loop is super engaging because in addition to avoid enemies you have to create a safe path to take back your bullet! In addition I love that the shooting mechanic is super skill based

I think the main improvement here could be add new enemies and power ups, but that aside is a cool game great job!

If you try mine, let me know what you think!

Brilliant game design, nice and simple idea that is really well executed.

I liked a lot the mechanic of having to "grab your bullet" on the ground.

The single bullet and the bounce mechanic are really interesting and unique, they really force you to play strategically. I found it really challenging and fun to play. Well done!

I think this is a really good execution of the Theme and the art-style looks really good. Only having one bullet made it quite thrilling once it was shot because you were more vulnerable which was a nice way to add risk. The ricochet made it possible to make some trick shots with the wall, obstacles and enemies and once I got the hang of it, I found it quite fun to do. It’s also quite awesome that there are multiple enemy types which makes this less repetitive.

This game really got me hooked, I've never played anything like this before!

Hey what a nice game. The single bullet roquelike bullet hell is very cool. This gameloop is always immediately engaging and you managed to build it in such a short time! Hope your game makes it to those all-important 20 ratings to show how well you did your work! (we also still need to make it)

Thank you so much it killed me to get this game done but thank you

Man, I was really engaged with the one bullet mechanic. It was a fun catch to work with, and the art was also nice.
The issue I faced was that some zombies clipped on each other, and I got some unexpected hit from this

But overall, the game loop was very nice for a game jam game, overall a solid entry, good luck with your gamedev journey, and keep up the great work

(Also, it will  mean a world to us if you play our game it currently has very low rates .)

The bullet bouncing is a very cool idea, I think making the player moving faster , will give more feel of control, perfect work though

Submitted(+1)

I like it a lot! The bouncing laser is kinda hard to control since it bounces in different directions a bit too often, but otherwise, great work!!!

Cool concept. Upgrades were a little expensive. So satisfying to get the perfect bounce to kill a whole bunch of zombies in 1 shot

Submitted(+1)

lol I basically used the exact same core mechanic (ricochet bullets) for this game jam. But your implementation with waves and upgrades is way more advanced already! Really cool to see how the same core idea can unfold in different art styles and types of gameplay. :)

Developer

I would love to play your game thanks for the feedback, good luck

A simple but interesting idea! The only downside is that the bullet blends in with the background a bit, and I think it would be nice to have a full-screen mode

I was a bit confused by the mechanics at first, but now I think they're great! I think I love this kind of games and this one is pretty cool. Good job!

pretty fun game, reminds me of some older games id play with my brother as a kid on his ps3, the sounds could use some work since it was a bit quiet on my end maybe
