the movement felt nice and smooth and the cute visuals paired with audio make up a very nice and relaxing game! The throwing mechanic feels extremely good and I love that it is utilized so heavily, different objects having their own weight is a nice touch too! The world feels alive, and overall, this is a really amazing game!
I really love the spritework and animations - they're so goofy and simple, yet so clean! The gameplay is also near perfect and I love the idea of diving deeper each time, risking the time running out and both feeding the wizard and making cookies taking a lot of time is really cool, although it did stress me out a lot xD
Overall, very solid game, extremely fun too!
This is a really fun and polished game! The gameplay loop is quite simple, but that gives more room for challenge and creativity, I loved the different effects on cookies for example. The ability to move from one side of the screen to the other is also extremely welcome, as it makes such a confined space feel a lot bigger! The artstyle paired with the sounds/music gives the game a unique vibe and style, and the spritework itself is really cute. Despite it being such a small-looking game on surface, I can tell there was a ton of design thought put into it. A very solid and fun game overall! :)
Yeah, I'm still an amateur at balancing card games, so the game's balance is stitched together with sticks and stones xD
I really want to continue working on this in the future, expand both on the gameplay and maybe even make a story of sorts, but I don't wanna overscope it before I've even begun doing it.
Thank you so much for playing!
This is a really fun and cute game! The artwork is charming and the sound effects really tie the whole experience together! The idea is cool enough by itself and the way it was implemented is near perfect, I really love the inclusion of rotated platforms/slopes as it creates a lot more ways you can tackle a challenge! Very solid and fun game overall! :)
A super polished and fun experience! It's worth mentioning that the weight mechanic didn't feel clunky at all, as some games struggle to get it right. The gameplay loop is simple, yet addictive and the upgrades are meaningful, making you want to go just a tiny bit further to be able to afford the next one. Also the art is ultra cute! :0
I really liked this game, I'm not a huge fan of luck-based games but for some reason my gambling addicted brain just couldn't resist this one. It's fun to plan out strategies to reach the exact goal and the upgrades feel useful! I also really love both the vibes and graphics! The game could really use a restart button, but other than that - extremely enjoyable game! :)
I absolutely love this game! The voice acting is ultra silly and the atmosphere kept me on edge. The spritework is simple, but in a good way, not too cluttered and still looks super good. The ost is a jam, and it's crazy you managed to whip out this kinda game in just 7 days by yourself! I've missed these types of stealth games :)
I really loved the game, the concept itself and it's execution are near flawless! I liked the shop and the upgrades, some of which are rather creative and the addition of new types of bugs as the game goes on was unexpected, but extremely welcome! The only thing I didn't like was that the queen's dialogue at the very beginning was extremely long and I had to read through it in its entirety to fully grasp the gameplay, so I'm glad you added a skip button for future runs. Other than that, amazing game, with a pinch of humor too! Crazy you managed to make this gem in 7 days solo!! :0
I really loved the game and it's a very interesting concept! Although trying to get some objectives felt like an endless grind of completing my thirst cards and using the rest of the dice to summon more temporary ones, I feel like it's my own fault for not understanding what the game wanted me to do. Overall, a 10/10 experience and an extremely fun game, even with me being that dumb! :)
Yeah, I was a bit confused by having to press space, but there wouldn't be a rhythm aspect without it, so I guess you could just say it was a skill issue on my end. And I didn't even struggle with it that much, it only took a couple of beats before I got the hang, so it isn't even that hard to learn. Sorry for giving you the wrong idea!
I remember seeing your game in the discord chat and it's crazy to see how good it came out! I really love the vibes, although clicking space when on the right square felt a bit unnecessary and took a little getting used to. Overall, amazing game, especially given that this was made solo in only 7 days!! :)
