How does the game fit the theme?
I tried to make a Peggle style game where the more valuable pegs permanently break. Do you choose to invest in high scoring bonuses, but risk ruining your board?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All of it was made by myself, aside from some of the photographs of food are taken from Pexels with the appropriate license.

Really fun game, loved the realistic images haha, really great job!
Glad you had fun with it :D Thanks for playing
I really like the art direction with mixing real life elements into the game. Its funny to imagine a dude just sitting there with his mouth open XD. The game is fun but I hope you add more synergies to it. Great work! Also add a highscore text as well please!
I completely ran out of time to add synergies and other stuff, but I hope to get more of that going soon! Highscore text would be fun too, I have never done one of those before. Would be a fun challenge to make one :) Glad you had fun with it, thanks for the feedback!
At first I was a bit lost in the upgrade screen because there’s a lot of information per item (bonk, bonk multi, +calorie, multiX). So for the first few rounds, I just placed them randomly. But after the onboarding, it was a heck of a lot of fun, and I played like 5–6 rounds
I agree the onboarding process is still a bit clunky. I definitely need to have a better tutorial than just a static image :) Glad you had fun with it once you understood the flow!
A fun spin, upgrading the pegs themselves. It took me a minute to understand I was gaining calories on contact. I loved seeing that represented on the cookie itself. Cool interpretation of the theme, having valuable pegs break. It didn't really influence my decision-making; I tended to take all the toppings I could. I would love to see the balancing adjusted to better align with the risk element, requiring me to make difficult choices. Overall, a very solid game and quite enjoyable. Nice work.
Ha! Yeah, there's no real issue with taking ALL the peg mods right now so it makes the choices pretty trivial. I definitely want to tune it more in the future to either have less pegs or more options. Glad you had fun with it regardless, thanks for taking the time to leave a review :)
A really fun and polished game, I enjoyed the Peggle style gameplay and the peg upgrades felt meaningful and rewarding. I didn't get how flicking works at first, especially the fact that it flicks the cookie in the direction opposite of your mouse, but that's mainly just me being extremely dumb. Although I must say that having to drag your mouse to the left, while the cookie itself is on the left side felt a little bit clunky since there's not much space for you to move your mouse around.I personally just kept accidentally bringing my cursor over to the second monitor.
Despite this very minor thing, this was still an extremely enjoyable experience, and those irl photos as graphics really felt like a breath of fresh air!
Extremely good feedback, thank you! I agree that the dragging element isn't very clean. I wanted to have the preview line arc a bit so you can see that you don't need to drag things back very far. Really once the flicking hand starts shaking you're pretty much at max power. Definitely want to keep working on this in the future :D
would be nice to see you expand on it in the future!
Love that I'm not the only one who used real life photos in their game. Was fun and polished!
Yeah! It was a lot of fun to try a new way to do art. It was much more difficult than I expected, but it definitely makes things look unique! :D Glad you had fun with it
I've been looking for this game for so long, finally here in all its glory! The game looks exceptionally good. I really like using photos as an art style. Seeing yourself at the bottom makes this super hilarious and cartoonish and fits the whole game very well. And as a bonus, all menus are also photos too! That kind of polish makes me very happy. The gameplay is solid and easy to understand, though the cookie toppings are a bit confusing, and I just randomly put toppings on the pegs. Still managed to beat the game, though.
Something that I think can be improved is that it would be nice to see the durability of each peg without hovering the mouse on it, would make the decision of cleaning the peg a smoother one. Also, I think a projectile preview curve would also help decide how to flick the cookie, and reduce some guessing needed.
Anyway, this is a really good entry and I enjoyed it a lot! Well done!
Heya! Thanks for playing. I'm glad you had fun with it :)
I agree that the effects of the pegs are really kinda pointless right now since you just pile them all on. The original intention was that some were riskier choices than others and you had to choose whether to go with high-scoring pegs that broke easily or low scoring pegs with a lot of durability.
> Something that I think can be improved is that it would be nice to see the durability of each peg without hovering the mouse on it
That's in the game already in the settings menu! :)
> I think a projectile preview curve would also help decide how to flick the cookie
I agree with that, I just couldn't figure out the maths to be accurate enough during the jam. I definitely want to go back and make that preview more accurate.
I love the photography art style, gave the game a lot of charm! Music was simple and relaxing. Liked the shaking of the hand as you aim the cookie. Think it would be cool if the mouth at the bottom did a chomping animation as the cookie goes in haha
Glad you have fun with it! Completely agree on the chomping animation. I took some pictures for it, but they didn't turn out great and I ran out of time before I could make more. Will have to do that for the full release!
Cool game! I thought the simple premise really worked well for what you all had going. Nice job.
Thanks very much! Glad you had fun with it :)
This game has a lot of polish and the feel is great! Short, simple, easy to grasp, all around really good. My only critique is i found that i just mindlessly put bonuses onto my board, I think there should be more incentive to think about my topping placements, potentially limiting how many upgrades i can choose per shop or something. Still, a very strong game!
Heya! I completely agree. I kinda ran out of time to deal with balance and flow of the game. You have some good suggestions that line up with some of the thoughts I've been writing down. Will definitely continue to update this project after the review period ends :) Thanks for playing!
Very cool! Loved the interesting art style, it is obvious that this game is very well-put together. My only other feedback is that I would have liked it if I got more of a tricky choice in which pegs to add, rather than just adding them all without thinking, but this is a minor thing and honestly the only thing I thought could be improved, otherwise very well done!
I completely agree, for a while during development I had a system where you could spend calories to buy pegs, but it started to feel too bloated and complicated. I am thinking that if I reduce the number of pegs (or increase the number of cookies) so the player needs to make actual choices on what to place and skip, that would help. Maybe in future builds! Thanks for playing :)
I really liked the visuals and audio, had fun and really liked your style! :)
Thanks! I'm glad you had fun with it :)
I really liked how you used photos for everything! I don't see that style much anymore so it's nice to see something different again! The casual vibes were great and I had a lot of fun with it!
Thanks very much! I'm glad you had a fun time with it :)
Thank you! I'm glad you had fun with it :)
Man, this is such solid work. The photos are great, the SFX is fun, the music is such a vibe, and the gameplay was genuinely enjoyable.
Absolutely top notch!
Man, the gameplay is pretty awesome with the toping choice! It's simple and i pretty love each plays!
Thanks! I definitely wanted to add more toppings, but I ran out of time ha. Glad you had fun with it :)
Super unique style that you made the pictures yourself! It looks so good still. I'm impressed and the gameplay is smooth and nice.
I have to say at first I didn't understand how to flick so I was flicking the wrong way hah (my bad), but than I got it and it felt so great alto the flick was very hard haha. But the controls are good no worries on that.
I loved evrything about the game!
Thanks for the kind words! I definitely wanted to make the flicking tutorial clearer but I ran out of time. I appreciate the feedback :)
Really creative use of photography! I liked how different pegs added different effects, and it's just an overall fun game. Well done!
Thanks! I thought that using photography would make things easier, but boy was I wrong 😅 Glad you had fun with it
The sound effects are very satisfying, and I love how the look of the cookies change as they hit the pegs! The gameplay is addictive!

Thanks for playing! Glad you had a fun time with it. Having the cookies change was one of the last things I was able to implement, but I'm so glad I did haha
