How does the game fit the theme?
The player character – the host – has the perception that nothing can go wrong this evening. It must not go wrong! There are high social stakes! For the other guests however, this is just a chance to meet some people and get some free drinks. Everything will most likely turn out OK in the end. What's the worst thing that could happen?

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The music and SFX

This game is amazing! Everything from the art direction, to the gameplay to the music is so incredibly charming! Trying to get everyone to get along and sparking up conversation was really fun! You absolutely nailed it with the overall vibe, including the music and general conversation matter that the guests talk about given the time it takes place in. I really enjoyed this game, good job!

That was a very fun bit if gameplay!:D And very easy to pick up and just spend a lot of time on!

I love it.  I tried converting everyone to socialism, but they weren't having it.
The colours might have seemed backward to me? Green seems toxic and red seems like hearts. So I might have been playing backwards.

Update: Played again after learning I could serve drinks! Even better.

I did have some trouble moving the euphoria needle though.

This was such a surprise! Very intuitive controls and the art style impeccable!

Wow that is such a great contribution! i spend a little more than 30minutes playing because it was actually very fun! the Only downside would be that for me, the font was a bit hard to read. But i loved the interactions and the social engineering :D Very on topic aswell! Thanks!

such an amazing idea and implementation, I loved almost everything about this game - except that many times my actions didn't seem to have any effect (be it trying to serve drinks or start conversations). So the gameplay, even though the design is really cool, didn't seem to flow for some reason. But if it did I'd say it's an awesome game, I can very well see myself buying and playing it if it was a full game.

Thank you for the kind words.

For conversations to have an effect on the guest's mood it should be on a subject that they have strong opinions about. Drinks should always have an effect however so we may have to look into that.

Thanks for playing!
