How does your game fit the theme?
The game starts in Atlantis before it floods, it also creates high tension moments where the players need to find a moment to gather themselves before they set a new high score. Making the calm as important as the storm.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Except for sound and music, everything is made by the team from scratch

Fun speed game, once you figure out that the speed can be broken by spamming the dash without touching a wall, it goes more speedier haha. I reached a point where the blue bar goes out of the screen and in the last level I went through the wall with 1 enemy.

The last levels can be a little hard and I don’t know how to correctly complete the last one, I just spammed dash and jump until it worked. But the concept can be great if it’s polished a little bit more, like a little better crosshair or the throw of the trident, but the physics feel good.

I had fun playing the levels and can get a bit chaotic with how fast you can go. I leave my score and I don’t have much to say since I don’t play this kind of game. But I like the concepts of speed games. :)

Great game! The fast-paced action and fluid mechanics really stand out, making it a fun experience. The trident mechanic adds a unique layer, and with some tweaks to its speed, it could be even more satisfying. Keep up the great work!

Fun, easy to understand concept. Maybe make the first level a bit longer to be able to use the trident speed boost. Water temple vibes.

Hee-ho. Super cool game. Nice speed. Thank you

Fun little fast paced speedrunning game. Graphics are nice and old school. Well done for a weeks work!

I love the fast-paced action of the game. The game can feel a little bit floaty from time to time, making it difficult to do precise platforming, but that could just be a skill issue on my part. Also, I broke the game on level 3 where you can clip out of bounds by teleporting.

The path for the player could be a bit clearer because some levels weren't clear on how to solve them. I love the artstyle you guys went for. Overall, it's a very nice game!

A very challenging gameplay, the replayability of the game is really interesting because you're always trying to beat your own record when playing the level again.

Cool game! Pretty fun fast-paced speedrunning game. Some of the levels I find are quite fun, but couldn't really finish the last one.

I find the ideas here are pretty cool but the implementation maybe could get more polish. I personally haven't really understood how the acceleration works and the spear launches quite slow considering the game is pretty fast-paced.

Also, it would be cool if the flooding water is more incorporated into the gameplay instead of only being virtually a death timer for the player.

But overall, I like the game and definitely would've played more of it if there were more levels! I definitely see potential for this game in the speedrunning market!

Oh you know I love a movement shooter!

I think it plays pretty well for what it is. The slower trident throw from a standstill in practice felt a bit gimmicky but didn't cause too much trouble. Oddly the level I had the most issue with was the platforming focused one, 2-3. An odd ledge can steal your speed and otherwise I felt I was dropping like a rock at times when trying to actually platform. However, if you're able to march through at full speed it just kind of flows together.

Otherwise I've maybe had the most fun with this one so far! I think the visuals are pretty impressive and your choice of music complimented the feeling of playing pretty well.

The controls aren`t very good, the levels can be confusing, and the trident is way too slow. But the graphics and music are quite good, and I could definitely see this being a great game with a little more polish.

Great idea, i love faced paced games and this was definitely that. Reminds me of trying to speed run csgo bhop/surfing maps :D Great submission

Thanks! Yeah, we really wanted to try something to promote fast movement, and to make it feel good. There's a couple more things we would've loved to implement, but we're pretty happy with the way it ended up in the end!

The fast gameplay is really nice. The spear is way too slow. It interrupts the fast paced gameplay. With smoother controls the game could be really fun! Also when spamming jump while moving and spamming the dash you break the dash meter and can solve every level by just charging to the end. :)

Ah yeah, the trident moves slow when you're standing still, it moves faster the faster you go when you throw it. But that makes aiming harder. It was a try to motivate the player to keep moving, but the trident would definitely need some more work if we'd take it further. Thanks for playing though!

Nice work indeed! I really like the used techno music and the fact that the game is challenging (To quickly find the way out of the Atlantis).
