How does your game fit the theme?
You have to collect ressources and prepare for the incoming storm. The idea was to create tension before the storm hits and enemys start to attack the player.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes we used mainly blender and unreal engine to make the assets and code by ourselfs. Some textures are from free sites.

Found the ourple crystal portal and got up to 90 resources on my second try, but I still got wiped, possibly because I returned late due to getting lost (and hoped placing a barricade/defender away from the totem would distract the enemies).

Developer

Thank you for Playing :D

If you place your barricades/defenders near the totem, you can actually stop it for some time. The getting lost thing is actually intentional, but we know it's a bit difficult to find your way back, we're thinking about adding some landmarks to make orientation easier. This was our first game jam and we got a little lost organizing some parts, but I guess that's normal the first time xd

Thanks for the Feedback!

Interesting concept, but the game needs some improvement. I ran into a problem that when I was putting up barricades, I had one of them “ stuck” to the cursor and I couldn't turn it off. And I got lost

Thanks for playing! Normally you can remove the preview for the placement for the barricades/towers by pressing 1. The getting lost part is kind of wanted actually, because there is probably an optimal route to get all the stuff and then chill in the base but the player should not be able to do that so fast. But yes, the game needs some improvements like some landmarks to orientate yourself a bit better and some other stuff like animations and assets. Thanks for the feedback!

The concept is fun! Missing a lot of polish though. It might have been better to go first person and put a bit more time into getting some audio in (or at least my audio didn't work). Also got lost while searching for crystals and took a bit of time to find the middle again.

We got a bit lost in organizing the essential stuff. Typical first own game problems I assume. The getting lost part is kind of wanted actually :D , because there is probably an optimal route to get all the stuff and then chill in the base but the player should not be able to do that so fast. But thank you very much for the feedback.
