How does your game fit the theme?
The jam theme is used mainly in the concept of the Lake, where adventurers have to dive deep and bring more details to the player.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, I coded the game from scratch. But I used packages from Unity's Asset Store like Dialogue Manager and Surge. The character icons, the wind sounds, the font used and the clicking sound effect are assets I got on the internet and are included in the game's credits.

Gahh, I wish it was longer :) Really nice, I like text games very much. The background looks great and I like the subtle changes to it during the game.

Nooo not a cliffhanger... /j

I love this concept! I definitely will be keeping an eye out for when it finishes, I'm super interested in what there is to explore about the mysterious Lake! It's such an amazing twist to the theme and I'm honestly glad I found it. Even so short, it was such a wonderful experience!

Interesting story and creative idea for the game

For what this game is, it is executed very well. The cheeky ending and using the game as a tease was very smart! Well done, I would say some variety in artwork would be nice, it definitely fit the mood with the ilustrations, I would just like to see more variety in them.

Audio could be further crafted to fit the scenes as well. It definitely does it's job, I just find myself wanting a bit more.
Great job to the team! Bravo

Damn, I really got hooked into this.

The game has a good atmosphere and the graphics are amazing! It's also very fun, but I'm angry because I really wish to see how it ends T_T

Well done click adventure! Nice take on the end, looking forward to the following chapters.

Incredible art, music and the resulting atmosphere

Interesting approach to the theme :)

The art and the atmosphere are complementing each other, great job!

Idk how many endings there are but mine just teased a continuation, yet the continue button didn't do anything :C . Otherwise pretty cool entry with a nice atmosphere

The art is very polished and the atmosphere is great. I like how the wind sounds are significantly louder than the daytime music, it made them feel overwhelming and tense.

Really cool atmosphere. The theme of the lake with the black and white art style kind of reminded me of some Junji Ito stories °°

what a bitch ending tho :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much! I love Junji Ito and I'm glad my game reminded you of him.

The style is amazing, and I love interactive fiction! Very impressed that it was done from scratch pretty much, and it's on brand for the theme. If it had VO it would be even better imo :) If you polish I would also implement a click to skip; it felt a bit long to wait for every line to display. Otherwise I loved it!

Thank you very much! It's always good to see feedback from people who already work in the industry. Yes, the button is a good idea. What is VO?

My bad - voice over! :D

I love the art style of your game. I could see that you still have a lot of ideas that you haven't implentmented.  I am looking forward to seeing it fully complete.

If you have time, please check out my game, thank you

I really like this format for a game. Mysterious story-telling game are too few. I wish there was more to explore within the game, but obviously a week is a short time to write a complete story. Also, the art was amazing.

fun game :) really liked the art and how the middle icon changed based on where you went / what you inspected was almost hypnotic in a way. Cool little narrative and made it to the end but seemed to not take me anywhere after I hit continue.. still really enjoyed it though!

Neat!

This was great until I got to the cliffhanger!
Really well written and amazing atmosphere with the art and audio.

Text-Based game gang :)

I loved the art. The story seems like it could be good, and I was very saddened when murdock told me I had to wait for updates.

Developer

I loved your game. I hope to see more text-based games from you in the next jams!

Interesting graphics style though it's hard to rate because this game not for everyone. Good job with the game.
