I Love The Game, The Art Style, The Bosses Design, I Love The Mechanic of Every Boss And There Is A Difference Between Them, The Atmosphere Remember Me The Souls Like, But I Think The Bosses Easy Then They Look Like,For Example The 3 Dragons They Looks Stronger When I See Them For The First Time But When I Face Them I Kill Them For The 5 Time, If You Work More on The Difficulty of The Bosses That's Gonna Be Better, The Game in My Opinion It's Easy Souls Like, And I Hope You Choose Clear Fonts For The Story Because I Face Problem To Read The Story, Anyway I Love The Game So Much And I Get The Head of The Last Boss, Great Job, Continue

I got double damage and super defense on first two bosses upgrades. Pig was very easy but also very fun. Feels very good to slash those bosses down! I'm not a big fan of slidey controls for movement but that's mostly personal preference. Good job on this one. (:

The game is very diverse, the idea of using monster body parts opens up new ways to go through. Pig was my favorite. Good job.

This was pretty cool! I found the snake boss a little tough, wasn’t able to beat it. It felt like during a lot of the fight, the middle snake was just too far for me to hit without just waiting for it to do the ‘extending neck’ attack. I also found myself falling through platforms now and then.

I like the core combat though! The first boss felt good to fight, I appreciated that the edges were safe zones. I also really liked how each snake had its own ‘main attack’, like the lightning, the fire, and the poison clouds. It was also nice that the snakes had a good warning when they were about to attack. Nice job!

I think I was just doing it wrong. I tried the game again and realized I could hit the middle snake from the bottom-middle platform. My apologies! It’s just a skill issue on my part lol

Ah thanks for giving it another shot! I was gonna suggest picking the wings if you were having trouble with that. Also I was wondering if you were hitting the down key to fall through platforms.

Either way it’s valuable feedback- I could have set that up/explained that better

Ahh interesting, I was playing with a controller, so when I moved with the left stick, I was probably holding right/left and maybe a little bit downwards, which triggered a ‘jump-down’, that would explain it.

I’ll give the wings a try, and I’ll probably swap to keyboard for an attempt.

Update: That ended up being the issue! I was using a controller, and kept falling through platforms because I was inadvertently holding slightly down on the left stick while moving side to side. I switched to keyboard and beat the game! Great work! I liked the 3rd boss the most, I really appreciated the laser attacks that had a brief warning before spawning the lasers/electricity. The minotaur was a cool fight too. Forcing the player to alternate blocking and slashing to be able to hit the minotaur while it runs at you is a cool idea! Nice job!

Awesome :) thank you so much for the debugging. Yeah as soon as you said controller I realized that I have the down threshold really low so all the platforms were probably just deactivating for you as soon as it went under the middle line :( again really appreciate the detailed feedback!

Amazing game, I really loved the whole Greek theme. Well balanced as well, made it all the way to the minotaur :)

Once the first boss is done, the game suddenly becomes doable. But hell, the first boss was hard. It took me too long to understand there were safe zones in the corners.

not gonna lie i was about to surrender to the roc because the controls where hard to get used to but im glad i kept trying. I finished the game and i think it has a great vibe to it! love the mythology theme and the artstyle fits well to it. its great how the player visual changes with each upgrade too good job on this game!

i would love some smoother gameflow maybe a higher jump and a smaller player sprite and hitbox.

it felt like an old gameboy game in a good way

There's hard mode in the setting!?

I can't even beat 1st boss in normal mode. Any tip?

Yeah but I think hard mode is genuinely pretty hard, it took me a few tries :P

For the roc it flies in a figure 8 but never goes all the way over to the sides so those are safe. you can stand there and hit it when it flies over. Then every few seconds it fires projectiles in a star formation so if you’re on an angle you’re fine.

Then at half health it will speed up a lot (sides are still safe) but the projectiles will circle back into it. The strategy then is to just stay away when it stops and starts shaking and hit it only when it’s moving around

Overall a solid game with some cool boss design, I really liked the hydra! The sprites are also quite good. One downside I see to the game is the character controls, not bad but the dude is really floaty and it really removes to the action!

Really great job! Loved the hydra fight it was really awesome that each head had a different ability. Also really liked that attacks from the previous bosses came back in the end of the game. The story between each stage tied the bosses together nicely : )

Up until now this is my favorite game of the jam by far, amazing concept. It changes the gameplay completely depending on wich body part you choose, it feels really responsive.
