How can one build a big weapon while fighting a boss? :s
Really fun craft system!!! The weapons created are too fragile in my opinion. I loved the graphics too.
I truly like the idea, very creative interpretation of the theme that truly leads to a very compelling and interesting game loop, while visually simple the game is very solid and feels good to shoot, I especially adore the gameplay for it reminds me of the megaman games:
Amazing use of the theme, the whole concept of building custom-shaped weapons out of bullet shells is so fun and intriguing! Technically impressive for sure. I can see the mechanic being taken to new heights whether it's in this setting or not, so definitely hold on to that one. Unfortunately, the controls took a lot away from the experience for me. They feel a bit clunky, mainly due to the space and Z keys being somewhat oddly assigned. I'm very used to space being a jump key while any key higher than that would be a dash or something else, so having those reversed threw me off consistently. That's not to say the controls are objectively bad or wrong, but I did find them difficult to get used to and found myself pressing a lot of wrong keys when I wanted to do something. That said, the art and setting are really cool and exciting, the music is pretty good although feels a little underwhelming for the intensity of the fight, and the concept is great!
Really nice concept, crafting the actual weapon shape is amazing, well done with that, and the pixel art is impressive and engaging.
A very cool game,
but I found it difficult until I got used to the controls, :0
but the game is good :>
The mechanics are very well thought out and fun
the visuals are really great
I had a little trouble with the controls though.
very good game overall
the build your own weapon mechanic is awesome, i could see that becoming a much more complex and satisfying game system if you continue with this game. the art was super well done and the actual fighting felt good. just fyi, i did get stuck a few times after charging the ranged attack and was unable to build a new weapon/progress so I had to reload
good job!
The atmosphere of the game, top notch! The environment and graphics are pretty good. Also, very unique take on the theme! Building the shape of the weapon is an interesting idea. I see untapped potential here, so a few suggestions:
Well done!
i like how you made this boss, really appreciate this !! And the art is cool too !
The graphics are really nice and the mechanic is really unique, but the game still has it's flaws, the biggest one being that there's no reason to build cool or wacky shapes as those are inefficient, the only viable strategy is to build a straight line and keep throwing it, there's also no reason to hit with your weapon as it does low damage and breaks really easily, building itself is also kinda finicky and some of the animations look a bit weird. A really solid experience in need of polish.
I really like the unique take on the theme, and the bosses are fun to fight! The art is absolutely amazing and I love how the bullets bounce around the arena
