  • Gameplay is decent with upgrades and different towers interesting, but it felt like there was no impact with the upgrade. There were also lots of placeholder assets and lacking visuals and animations with some turrets more fleshed out than others but some are just spheres/cubes
  • I enjoyed this game however i don't think it really fit both rivalry and mystery companion at all. There was no story to match the game so in these aspects i think it couldnt get higher than a middle score.

Cool tower defense i like that there is troops reinforcements those are fun for tower defense, on one level some enemys got stuck to a wall, bottom right on like a T or H level thing

i have some additional questions for you :

How challenging was it to develop your game? Did you face any significant obstacles?

What inspired your game idea and gameplay? Could you share the story behind the game's name?

How did you get into video game development?

Well crafted game art and simplistic visuals when properly made can be a beautiful choice for a video game espiecially when combined with 3D views and environements

it's seems challenging to me to create a video game , and i have a plan to do so too in the future when it's possible to me and a long as i can .

3D can be the start of Fun Games , games that can be cool and can be adventurous and become nice memories !!

This game can be improved more, the graphics it uses can be played if a feature that can stand out from normal tower defense games that add a different perspective is added.

Nice variety of weapons, a lot to do in such a short time, the levels felt bare in there current form would be nice to see the menu art style  used throughout :)

it would be cool to add game acceleration and not have to press escape to make the selected ability inactive (maybe I just didn’t understand the controls)
It must have been hard to program. The game has a lot of variety of weapons and abilities, it's very good for 10 days

I played your game Rage Tower Defense and i have some feedback, thoughts, and questions.

The widget screen at the beginning has some bugs, I think. Some of the icons and buttons changed size from the ones you determined in your project. In terms of design choices, I find it unclear and less readable. You could try changing the background color to a darker one; it might help improve clarity.

I also noticed audio issues or bugs; there is no sound playing. Perhaps you could look into that.

Maybe you could consider adding difficulty levels. Some players mentioned it was too easy for them. Increasing difficulty with the progression of the game could enhance the overall experience.

Can you share the engine and tools you used to create your game, as well as details about your graphics? Was it challenging to develop your game? Did you encounter any specific challenges?

I'm sorry to hear about the issues you encountered with the widget screen at the beginning. I'll definitely look into those bugs and work on improving the design choices to make it more user-friendly. No full screen makes the text really hard to see again making it difficult to play as intended by developer. I can just place towers and I'll end up 'winning' and that's pretty much about it.

i will increase the text size on the next update or if you want private link you may get updates easy...about the full screen ,there is some issue on some widget stretching due to some setting i forgot to set before submitting in a hurry

The game really lacks sounds! The graphic style is interesting, the game is very easy, you can just place towers wherever you want and you will win) I didn’t quite understand the author’s message as he interpreted the theme of the “Companion” jam

I feel like the game is quit a bit too easy, two or three machine guns were all I really needed to complete it. The second level is also bugged and ennemy tends to get stucks in the walls so they need to be cleared with an airstrike.

Still pretty neat, nice tower, powerup and ennemy variety. Pretty deep for a Jam TD
