Hey mate. Some feedback:

- Firstly, your game looks very pretty, so congrats on that.

- One ship would often be hidden by the text that says "x ships were destroyed", and that would be rather confusing.

- Furthermore, the fact that some projectiles are faster than others even tho their colors is the same i s also kinda confusing. Maybe you could have made it so that there are 4 colors and the green, red and orange are not repealable but have different speeds each and the yellow is repealable.

- Speaking of the projectiles, I wish yellows ones would spawn more.

- I feel like the game is too slow-paced at the beginning.

Lastly, 50 ships on normal is too much, so I could not beat your game. This was the best I could get:

Very solid entry, the game was way harder than I thought at first! Very good pixel art, responsive gameplay, didn't cross any bub.

Great job, I took pleasure playing your game :)

Hi!

I really enjoyed your game.

The graphics were coherent and fit very well.

The audio was not annoying but gave the whole game that extra something.

I played through the easy mode and the win animation looked good too.

I also liked that you destroy the projectiles when you get hit. This gives you a short breather or can get you out of tricky situations.

What I didn't like so much were the different projectiles. The green one was pretty useless in itself, it just dragged out the game.

Also, the projectiles were not fast enough for me. It takes forever for the game to pick up speed, which is very frustrating if you were close to winning.

I find the theme a little underrepresented, I understand that the earth is only protected by two sides and you basically have two sides in the war, but somehow it seems not enough to me.

But that's just complaining on a high level. A very good entry.

Thank you for such detailed feedback! I’ll work on the things you mentioned for a post-jam update!

A unique take on the theme, rather distanced from the obvious choices. Nice! It was a bit hard after a while though (but maybe that's just me, ha!)

I like the interpretation of the theme. I have seen a lot of people doing platformers where make the player switch some part of the screen, but this game is a unique take on the theme and it's got weird addictive gameplay. I personally think my team's interpretation is unique as well. Good job, and nice art!

Looks very similar to both Vimlark's 2 Space Games, and also why does Vimlark make a lot of space games?

Cool, i dont really see a resembelace to the theme other than aliens vs eatrth which isnt all that inovational.

Visuals and SFX 10/10

Also it really looks like vimlarks satelite game where meteors come down and you gotta circle with satelites to destry them, its probably a coincidance i just wanted to let you know.

Polish is amazing and the ui is easely navigated.

Great job!

Also it would take aprox. 30 seconds to make a python script with the keyboard lib that just pressed d for you and makes you unable to loose  :/

Only two sides of the Earth is defended from lasers, which is how it fits with the theme, and where’s the fun in using an autoclicker to beat the game? But anyway, thanks for the feedback!

Ah did not notice that with two sides, imma update the rating :D

Well saying whats the fun in hacking doesnt really fix hacking as aproblem :/

Don't worry, I'll set a cap on how much you can hit a certain key in a timeframe!

The art is really cool, and the gameplay is pretty fun. At first it took me a second to realise what its about but after that it was all good. I got 20 ships.

Solid game, Starts off a bit slow but overall pretty good. It looks similar to/ inspired by Vimlark's game, just with different mechanics:

But hey that's just my opinion, GJ tho :)

Developer(+1)

That's because it was inspired by his game!

Woah, this game is incredible! Definitely the kind of game I'd play over and over again until I get sidetracked by something else. The art style actually gives me a throwback to a flash game I found  a few years ago where you had to shoot down asteroids that were hitting the earth.

My only minor complaint is that there's a lot of waiting inbetween bullet waves - on Normal at least, I haven't tried Hard - but other than that, this game is absolutely stellar, and I'd love to see an endless mode!

Really fun game! Graphics look great and audio fits really well!

But hard mode does seems like it might be impossible sometimes, but I can't tell for sure. My only other suggestion would be that it would be pretty nice to be able to move the satellites independently.

This was really fun and chaotic, could have gotten some balances like not having the player wait so long for something to come at them but appart from that it's a great and fun game! The title screen could've also been a bit more polished but it's good
