Awesome game! Very clever idea and use of the theme! Loved it!

Very cool. Great music. Nice lighting. Cool main character. Really fits with the theme and I'm very impressed by the procedurally generated mystery! By process of elimination I definitely found the killer. (The notes is a great addition). One small point is that I had to check the reviews to find out how to accuse someone and when I tried to accuse them by pressing up, nothing happened, and I when I tried to accuse an innocent person, I guess I died? But again, this was really polished and really good fun!

Everything in this game is wonderful. Writing notes is a great idea. A little difficult to read because of the font, the letters merge.

The rest of the game, as I said, is excellent.

Developer

In the original resolution, the font isn't a problem. But when it's scaled up, the pixels can't align perfectly and it gets messed up. Not sure how to fix this...

Great use of the theme, great game

nice game, and it's super polished for a jam game. The face that is "procedural" and every game is different adds a lot to it and liked a lot the "drawing board" mechanic

Needed paper and pencil to keep track, but I actually got it right. Fun to play, and love that it changes on each play. Great submisision

What a cool 'who dun it' story!  The controls felt smooth and simple and that lighting effect is super cool!  I wonder if their is a similar thing in Unity?  Super great job submitting a fun little mystery game to the jam, you did it congrats!  Please check out my game when you have time :D (hopefully you don't get the door bug XD)

How did you make the lighting? is it in unity ? Great job!

Developer(+1)

The lighting is a built-in feature of godot

Really polished. Did see one temporary glitch though.

Developer

What was the glitch?

Submitted

it showed multiple characters it the screen for a split second after entering a new room.

Developer

Oh I know what you're talking about. I saw that glitch but I didn't have time to fix it, so I left it since it's not game-breaking.

Super fun game, and what a great take on the jam theme. One bug, I did accidentally press up against a person and the screen went blank.

Developer

uh-oh. I'll need to fix that. Thanks for playing anyways!

Wow, this was really just an amazing submission. Great attention to the retro-arcade style, awesome animations, and really fits the theme. I loved it! And I'm kinda jealous...

Did you do the art yourself? It was awesome, and really made this game what it is.

Developer

The original tileset was an asset pack I found on this website. I made all of furniture sprites and my friend made all of the character models. We were going to have him do more, but he joined late and there wasn't enough time. Thanks for the feedback, though!

What is this? If I try to play this game in my browser the whole system is lagging. Other games work just fine...

Developer

That's odd. Maybe just try downloading it instead.

Ahhh... had to enable hardware accelleration in my browser.

Great concept, cool artstyle. Really like you spin at the idea of the theme
