Congrats on your game! I like the player character, and the transitions between static cameras was a nice idea that gave the game a stage-by-stage feel. It would have been interesting to see how you could have developed the trust hearts idea into a deeper mechanic. You might have required a certain amount of trust to pass a certain gatekeeper, or something like that. But well done!

It misses any sound i guess it was due to the time limitation so it´s not that big of a deal.
I finished it on my first run and doesen´t found any bugs or glitches so you did a very good job in the 3 days you had time for the game. I really like the effects when you go to another room great work.
It would be great if you would check out my game too.
best of luck.
On my first try the jump broke and i was unable to continue. But that seemed to be a one off because after that I had a pretty good time. Nice Job.
The player character has an awesome animation! I wasn't able to jump after a little time, also the jump felt kinda 'floaty'. Not sure if it was intended to be~ Still great job submitting a game to the jam, you did it congrats! Please check out my game when you have time :D (also kinda buggy haha)
A little lackluster in the sound department, but the player's animations were very nice!
This game was pretty fun but I do think that more sound effects could have been added.I like the art and animations but this game did not really fit with the theme of the jam. Also, I think it would be a lot more fun if you added some enemies.
On the bright side it was a nice little game and the animations were cute, on the other hand it could really need some sound/music and it didn't fit the topic that much.
It was a nice short game but it didn't really fit the theme. A few things I suggest is:
- Add sound effects. There is a website called bfxr.net where you can make very simple but effective "8-bit" sounds
- Add "untrustful" mechanics, such as platforms disappearing when you jump on them.
- Use a different font of your choice, I recommend a "pixely" type of font, since it's a pixelated game.
Awesome game just make sure you implement some of these ideas and other people's ideas in this comment section to further improve your game or the next game you make.
A couple sound effects would have spiced things up otherwise it was fun
The idea is good, recover many "hearts" to "be confident again" do the game matches to theme in a platformer solution, the controls are okay except by the gravity what feels a bit strange and the transitions between scenes is much slow, what make me accidentaly go in and out of the scenes and the camera go back to wrong one, at all is a cool game but needs more polish
Intresting use of the theme. Some background music or SFX would make the game alot better. The relativly easy platforming was nice though, along with the simple story of regaining trust in yourself. Wish there was an ending though....
