Cool concept and pretty fun. Really difficult at the beginning but the progression system works well. Great job, looking forward to how you may expand this out.
very fun and the art has alot of polish, movement could be a bit better with arrow keys, but a mouse point-to-click system adds alot more tension to collect the algae, good effort!
thank you for playing. yes, I was pondering if a tank-control style would be better…but I also wanted to have if playable on mobile… so I kept the mouse input. maybe both should be possible
A really nice game, although the algae was somewhat hard to spot and was tough to play after a short while even with a maxed out ship.
An interesting idea and a good implementation!
only criticism is that the algae is hard to spot,
and for half of the first round I just swim-around in circles until I accidentally stumbled upon
nice game ^^
I think there's several blind spot because of collision that are unreachable for the boat.
probably you can add little helpers kinda like small boat that hovers around the player that help cover small gaps.
thanks for playing… yes, I planed for turtles, but didn’t have time to implement them :-)
I love the game! The visuals and sfx are really well done. I don’t agree with the other comments saying the algae were hard to see. My only criticism is that every new try starts off very slowly, the pacing feels a bit too slow at first, and then the algae suddenly break out like crazy. But overall, a really great submission!
exponential growth! but yes, it was difficult to find a good growth rate, the only option is to clean it early. I planned to also have barriers or inhibitors. maybe in a version v2
Really cool concept—the art was fantastic and I found myself really enjoying the game loop. If you decide to pursue further updates, it'd be great to see either more layouts or even multiple, increasing algae spawn starts to give more variety and challenge. Thanks for making and sharing your game!
Nice concept!
Really liked the art of the game, especially the shop menu :)
Sadly you can´t really see the algae at the start, so you just have to guess where to drive around.
Still, it pretty fun racking up some cash :D
Very fun game. Nice gameplay loop, good art, and good music. I found it a bit easy to beat the game by just swooping in early and cleaning up, but aside from that, it felt really good.
Cool concept. At first, I couldn't see the algae bloom until it was too late, but then understood where to go, pretty fun, nice job
thank you for playing and thank you for the comment. yes, an improvement could be to place some !!!Attention!!! signs when the algae starts.
One of the most fun games I've played so far! The idea is really good! Congratulations!
Pretty neat game! It was a little hard to make out where the algae and stuff was, but this was a nice experience overall. Well done :)
A decently fun gameplay loop thanks to the shop system with nice visuals! It's a touch frustrating how the boat can get stuck on the terrain
thanks for playing… yes, true. imaging the stress the captain has :-)
Nice work! I was having trouble seeing the algae and cargo like other comments were mentioning but the upgrades felt fair and made the experience very enjoyable.
I really like the art style, but it's really hard to see the algae in their early stages of growth. The upgrade system is great.
I see the vision, but it needs more work. It is really hard to see the algae, meaning I am straining my eyes. I keep get caught on the shore or islands that stops me from getting back to the factory in time. The algae bloom also ramps up like crazy, making it a really sudden end.
hi, thanks for playing.
you probably have a very large monitor…. did you try fullscreen?
this is the idea of the game… you loose, but then can buy upgrades and try again.
after my first loss i was like how am i supposed to do this and then i saw the upgrade page i was like nice! fun game, but i agree with other comment that sounds would be a nice addition
thanks for playing. I spend some time in garage band today and added some sfx…
thanks for playing. yes, it really needs sound…but I ran out of time. I thought of having different controls as well, but in the end I stuck with the mouse input. at least it should work with touch on mobile :-)
