Really fun experience! Adding some audio would have taken this to the next level, but even without it the game holds up well. Great work!

Really enjoyed this one! The controls felt smooth and responsive, and the sound design with the dynamic thruster SFX was a great touch. The decision to bounce the player back into the stage instead of using hard collider borders was a smart call, it keeps the flow going and feels much more intentional. Overall a very solid submission, well done!

Thank you! I appreciate it alot :) sadly didnt made it in time limit but i still wanted to share this

Thank you, that means alot to me :)

Sometimes there were inconsistencies in the traits, which I assume was because they were assigned randomly? Also, as a native German speaker, I really appreciate the option for German gameplay. All in all, good submission :)

Very fun :) great sound design and cute visuals

It's like the Google Chrome dino game, but potato-themed. Nice job! I just don't really get why there's a duck option if you don't need it :D
Some game feel would help this to stand out more imo!

Great game overall. i personally dont like the visuals tbh, i think the sprites dont fit together very well. But the idea and the implementation is nice. Good job

Great game, got really stressful at the end, a little sound would improve this so much but the visuals are great! My highscore was 103 :)

Thank you :)

Great experience! I loved the art and the atmosphere. You really made the most out of the simple sprites. A few more sound effects would make it even better, and there were some minor bugs, but nothing game-breaking. Great job!

Interesting concept! I just wish it had more upgrades and perks. Some sound effects or ambient sound would’ve been great too.

I love the visuals! The old Windows aesthetic is scary by itself, but with the sound effects and the horror visuals, the whole thing feels really unsettling in the best way.

I love that someone else made a text-based game too. I really enjoyed it.

I don’t know what engine you used, but some sound or visual effects would have definitely taken the game to the next level.

The story is very well written and has this really oppressive feeling to it.

I read all the comments first and thought, okay, it can’t be that good, but honestly, I’m speechless. This is so well made.

The atmosphere, the sounds, that oppressive feeling, you created a really great short experience.

Not bad for your first jam. I got stuck though. I collected some evidence and checked every room, but I didn’t know what to do next.

The perspective felt a little weird sometimes, like the player was 3 meters tall. Also, the doors didn’t have any colliders.

You're supposed to hate him, so goal accomplished haha.

Thanks for the feedback. I intentionally left out music so it feels more like using a real computer, not playing a game.

Thank you! I had so many ideas but run out of time unfortunately

Thanks :) yes i noticed that it might be hard to understand, so i added the solutions in the itch page. I noticed a little too late, otherwise i would have added it to the help menu

Thank you :)

Appreciate it :)

What does the bike do?

Thanks, that was exactly my inspiration. I was going for that sarcastic, passive-aggressive narrator vibe, so I’m glad it came through.

Hey! How did you get GIFs to work on your game page?
I’m having trouble with them lately, they used to work fine, but now they won’t play.

Thanks a lot for the kind words!
I’m actually planning a kind of spiritual successor in my head right now, since I had a lot of fun with this project.
I want to keep experimenting with this type of game, this atmosphere, and this setting, and see how far I can push it.
I just don’t know when or if I’ll ever release it, since I have a lot going on right now.

I was confused about what to do, and when I died the game just went black. not sure if that’s a bug. Still, I really like the vibe and the creepy flashlight mechanic.

Love the retro vibes. This feels like something that really could have been published on the Game Boy. Solid submission. A bit hard to understand at first, but fun once you get it.

The game itself is very solid. The color is awful! But good job for the rest

Love the art style and the story! The third wall break was genius. I would love to see how this would turn out with more time

Appreciate it, thank you :)

Yeah its crazy what ai is capable to do, and if you are just good at coding, and free music is hard to find, its very helpful

Thanks for your feedback :)

Thank you :)

Thanks a lot, really appreciate it. I wanted to avoid any Ul overload, so I kept it as minimal as possible. Maybe I'll find a subtle way to add something like that in the future, but for now this style felt right.

Thank you, appreciate it :)

I tried it several times and kept dying out of nowhere. I didn’t even get a chance

I really love this. The art is great and the atmosphere works well. The only thing that could make it even better is a more continuous story where your decisions actually influence future events. That would give the whole experience more weight and replay value

The controls and the world were very nice. But it was hard to understand what to do. I just walked around and picked up random things

I have no idea what the fuck i just played, but plus points for randomness

Funny idea. I couldn't really tell which combinations caused which effects, or if there even was a difference. It felt like you could just pick anything and it wouldn’t matter. Also, there's no real challenge since you can't lose and can just click random

I liked the vibe and the idea. The only thing that would make it better is if the events built on each other, one continuous story, maybe even with different paths you could take
