Hey! How did you get GIFs to work on your game page?
I’m having trouble with them lately, they used to work fine, but now they won’t play.

Thanks a lot for the kind words!
I’m actually planning a kind of spiritual successor in my head right now, since I had a lot of fun with this project.
I want to keep experimenting with this type of game, this atmosphere, and this setting, and see how far I can push it.
I just don’t know when or if I’ll ever release it, since I have a lot going on right now.

I was confused about what to do, and when I died the game just went black. not sure if that’s a bug. Still, I really like the vibe and the creepy flashlight mechanic.

Love the retro vibes. This feels like something that really could have been published on the Game Boy. Solid submission. A bit hard to understand at first, but fun once you get it.

The game itself is very solid. The color is awful! But good job for the rest

Love the art style and the story! The third wall break was genius. I would love to see how this would turn out with more time

Appreciate it, thank you :)

Yeah its crazy what ai is capable to do, and if you are just good at coding, and free music is hard to find, its very helpful

Thanks for your feedback :)

Thank you :)

Thanks a lot, really appreciate it. I wanted to avoid any Ul overload, so I kept it as minimal as possible. Maybe I'll find a subtle way to add something like that in the future, but for now this style felt right.

Thank you, appreciate it :)

I tried it several times and kept dying out of nowhere. I didn’t even get a chance

I really love this. The art is great and the atmosphere works well. The only thing that could make it even better is a more continuous story where your decisions actually influence future events. That would give the whole experience more weight and replay value

The controls and the world were very nice. But it was hard to understand what to do. I just walked around and picked up random things

I have no idea what the fuck i just played, but plus points for randomness

Funny idea. I couldn't really tell which combinations caused which effects, or if there even was a difference. It felt like you could just pick anything and it wouldn’t matter. Also, there's no real challenge since you can't lose and can just click random

I liked the vibe and the idea. The only thing that would make it better is if the events built on each other, one continuous story, maybe even with different paths you could take

I like the art! But i spammed Space and nothing happened, idk if its buggy but i could just press the attack button. Also i dont see the theme here

This is so fun, better than i expected. Nothing to say more, great submission

Well done! Simple game, well polished and easy to understand. Sold submission

I don't know if it's just on my side, but it's so buggy that it's basically unplayable? or I'm just not getting it. But props for the art and music

Super confusing, but nice art and idea

It's hard to tell which offering goes where, since it's only explained at the beginning. It's easy to forget, and the text doesn't make it clear which category it belongs to. But I like the idea and the art.

I like that you can choose your own color palette, and the idea itself is great. But the execution is a bit weak. The build-up is too slow. It takes ages until you get your first building. Also, the music stops at some point.

I like the art alot. Gameplay-wise its hart to tell what to do, i just did random rituals because i was overwhelmed

Thanks for playing :)
I mean you can always do a second try to get a perfect run

You offer an opening to your enemy to bait him into attacking

thanks for playing :)

Thanks for your feedback and for playing :)

Thank you!

Thank you :)

Thanks a lot, really happy the atmosphere and ghost style landed for you. Appreciate you playing and leaving a note

Thanks a lot. Really glad those moments hit you, even in such a short game. Appreciate you playing and sharing this.

Thanks for playing :)

Thanks a lot! I actually had a lot of help with the story. While I was working on the logic and terminal system, someone else was writing the story and dialogues in parallel. I could’ve never pulled that off on my own :) Really glad you liked it! I’m also a big fan of your work, so I’m excited to see what you’ll come up with next!

Like others already mentioned, the game has a few issues. But for 3 hours, and considering you’re just learning to code, it’s solid. With a bit more practice and time, this could’ve been a really great submission since the visuals and atmosphere are already excellent. Keep it up!

I loved it! The visuals, audio, atmosphere, and gameplay all work so well together. My only downside is that it feels like pure guessing. I get that you didn’t want to make it too easy, but without knowing what each gem does, you’re basically placing them at random and hoping it works.

Sometimes the right rune still leads to a game over, and in my opinion it’s a bit too hard since all the runes look very similar. I think this could’ve been a great game with just a bit more time, but for 3 hours it’s a solid submission!

Simple but beautiful. Feels polished, and the different effects were quite challenging at times. My favorite part was definitely the visuals. Overall, a solid submission, well done!

Cool concept and great music!

Camera’s a bit too sensitive and dodging feels random sometimes, but still had fun.
Love seeing more I AM STUPID games pop up. keep it up!

Went over the 3-hour limit, so I figured, why stop there? Ended up polishing and expanding Witch.sys! Check it out :)
