You nailed the aesthetic down to the music, sfx, and style of gameplay. I really loved this.  Great work!!

Nice work! I could feel the N64 Zelda influences shining through here. This game really captures that 90's feel! The sound effects and music really added to the vibe. I would love to see more of this concept!

It was really fun! Really nice work with the art and the level design. As others pointed out, the camera is inverted (although this matter is subjective for each personally). I hope to see an expanded version after the jam.

Enjoyed the art style! Had a little struggle in the beginning, because the camera was on a nearby log and I thought I need to jump there :D Only after 10-20 failed attempts I realized there are other directions to look at.

Graphically felt very much like the N64, the inverted camera controls were mildly annoying but I got used to them after a bit. It is a very nice concept and I very much enjoyed the hover ability with the platforming after getting used to it. I hope to see this game further developed.

Thanks! The funny thing is, I thought the camera controls were flipped to start with and I confused myself and switched them at the last minute so... uh... that's gonna get fixed first thing in the patch haha

This felt very PSX-like. Like the concept. I love games with unique constraints - the lack of a jump was nice. Turns it into a semi-puzzle platformer.

Thanks for playing! In my head I was taking most inspiration from Ocarina and Majora's Mask where Link only does a little hop after moving off a ledge. I figured full-on flying would be beyond my programming and level design abilities for now so I'm glad people liked the solution!

Hey! Glad to see you trying out some game dev, and with Godot (good choice :D)!

Really impressive for your first game. I know you didn't get too far with the game play, but I like what you did with what you had. The level design is good for what's there, and it's easy to see how more mechanics could be added on. Music and art assets are great too!

Looking forward to seeing what you do next :D

Thanks so much! Learning Godot has been fun (if a little stressful at times!). I almost considered using Unity but as a casual enjoyer of OSS I figured I should give it a shot and I'm glad I did!

The hover - instead of jump - mechanic is super interesting. Love the level design. Really reminds me of Majora's Mask or Banjo Kazooie dungeons! Also, the music is rad. Really well done, can't wait to see where this goes in its final form!

I kind of like the not jump mechanic, makes it so you have to think from where you'll jump.

Love the character and level models! The enemy looked really cool too. I think this will be really fun once fleshed out. Look forward to seeing updates!
