Imagine falling from floor 15 to 9 đź’€. Oh its definitely a tower alright.
Thanks for making the player respawnable, If I had to start again from the start I don't think my sanity would've handled it XD.
Melee all the way Deus Vult!

Very smooth, old school dungeon crawler. Really liked the art.

really cool dungeon crawler! can you try my game?

Love to see a good dungeon crawler! Really fun and engaging. I adore the UI design and Terminal-esque font, which feels super retro and cool. I didn't realise until near the end that you could fall through pits to the previous floors seamlessly, which is really cool and way more interesting than dying.

Love the style you went for here! The game is very challenging, I like how you introduce new obstacles the further you go. Dying is definitely forgiving as well! 🙏 I made it to floor 7!

This game is lovely! I love the old Macintosh computer framing and the general visual style is on point.

Full disclosure: I didn’t make it to the end. I did find it really cool how, at around floor 15(?) the level design became more open-ended and suddenly I was traveling back and forth between floors in a much more exploratory way. In general, the ever-increasing complexity of the levels made for a really natural-feeling difficulty curve! I did get frustrated after falling down a hole and getting set back several floors, one too many times.

The main reason (as pointed out in another comment by my co-developer, mijkolsmith) is the fireball traps. It’s not always easy to judge whether you’re in their path or not, which made backtracking through earlier floors especially frustrating.

I would also like to see more interaction between the game’s systems, e.g. enemies being hit by traps, or being able to knock them into pits.

Definitely an impressive game though! On the technical side I’m especially amazed at how clean and polished the game feels, and the combat is tight as well. Great job :)

Great game! Love the aesthetic, I also chose the dithering approach for my game. The concept was also very clever, it truly did feel like you were climbing up through a tower.

There's a lot of game here! I didn't quite get to the end, but each level was short enough to want me to keep playing. Nicely done!

I liked it up until the shooting balls part. I quit there because I kept dying to them.

Excellent dungeon crawler! The graphics are very well done and I think that everything was challenging enough to stay interesting, but not too unforgiving. I also really liked the pit / holes that you could fall down into. It added some depth to the levels that was really nice.

Level 6 is really a challenge.
I would love to have parry mechanic since the combat is quite enjoyable and I notice the orc have attack timing very good.
Maybe this is a bug but the camera keep rotating around even I didnt move my mouse. It made me dizzy and easy to lost navigation

The floor at some level has very confusing look since they were not connected but you still can walk on the edge of it
Overall, its quite decent game. Congratulation!

This is a bug, I will try to fix it soon! (Maybe try in a different browser)

If you backpedal slightly you will be able to dodge the orc attack.

Thanks for the feedback!
