I love the game!! Great concept.
Seems like the start of something bigger? The art is minimal but nostalgic in a way. I was left wanting more!
Thank you Matt, so glad to hear that. Definitely more of the game on the way, it’s just a demo for now :) -Liam
This game is a creative and fun but it is shorter than my wil- nevermind. Has a lot of potential. Along with the list of new stages, you should add ice stages where you and your enemies slide to the walls, making knights a bigger threat since they don't slide. Adding a puzzle + reaction time aspect. I also feel as if this game will improve from some crunchy sound effects (totally not saying that mine doesn't include that! this totally isn't a "rules for me, not for thee situation"). By the way, the 3rd level unfortunately has it so you only have to focus on one side of the screen.
also congrats on the new studio in sydney!
Thank you so much oonie! Yes we are definitely aware that it could use plenty of improvement, especially in terms of level design, game length, re-playability, and more. It’s still flawed and DIY at this stage – even the second level even has an extra enemy that we didn’t mean to put there, haha. Really appreciate your thoughtful feedback and ideas.
And thanks for the congrats! “Game Studio” is a generous description of us honestly, we’re just two good mates working from each other’s houses (and I’ve updated our profile to clarify that!)
Cheers :) -Liam
Cool game. I'd like to see what it will become in future
Loved the traditional roguelike feel. Excellent graphics and music. Very challenging but satisfying.
Thank you so much Lucas, it means a lot.
Very very original variation on traditional roguelike games. I really enjoyed it and I'll play it again!
Thank you Lorenzo! We’re definitely planning to flesh it out and add more mechanics in future so feel free to chuck us a follow :)
