Really relaxing! It took me a bit to get the grab and throw mechanic: if you release the leaf when walking, you don't get to see it falling into pieces, and I'm not sure but it seems this way you get less refill.

Graphics are minimalist but that's not implying they are bad, quite the contrary. Nice little game.

Great autumnal atmosphere. The somber music and occasional drizzle are perfect. I like the austere visuals also.

Unfortunately, once I got the hang of what I was supposed to do, the challenge was gone. There should be some scaling of the difficulty and more variety in the gameplay (e.g., falling hazards, different categories of leaves, etc.).

Probable gonna redo the colliders. I did an update but it seems has made the game much easier. Before it was kinda harder to pick up

Developer(+1)

also gonna sophisticate the difficulty system

Cool idea I wish you had expanded a little more, like maybe add other ants trying to survive and take your leaves away or some other type of challenge. One you get the basics it's pretty much endless. I love how minimalistic the assets are without looking boring. I'm also not sure if you are allowed to update your game during the rating period. Anyway good job, there's a good base here for a better and bigger game.

Cool artwork! It captures the autumn theme well. Congrats!

Love the idea/concept of it, being an ant and having to get ready for winter, I think you could do a lot more with this idea if you wanted. But this is definitely a good first draft. The grabbing mechanic felt a bit awkward to me, seems like the head and the leaf must be aligned quite precisely for it to work, but aside from that, good entry :)

Hello! Just made a fix of the colliders in the leaves and added a high score system if you are interested

Wow, one of the nicest aesthetics so far. Loved the simplistic art style and the subtle, yet effective animations. Nice one!

Cool concept! some of the leaves were not able to be thrown, but that was really the only downside. Addicting and fun!

I wasn't sure why there was a button to throw a leaf, but no button to eat them. It's a very nice looking game and I like the ant's animation, but it was hard to meet the objectives the game set.

Developer(+1)

Hey, I made that decision because the timespan of dissappearance of the  bits of leaf is lower than the one for the complete leaves. I've been told the colliders are a bit off. Checking that

Developer(+1)

The fix is up if you're interested. Also added a high score system

Like the game, simple but effective.

The collider on the leaves was somewhat janky, which made it so I wasn't able to pick them up most of the time. But except for that, I liked the mood and ambiance. Adding little sound effects when eating a leaf would have been a plus :)

Developer

Just uploaded the fix and added a high score system. Let me know if something else comes up

Pretty simple but objective is clear. There needs to be more of a sign that youve picked something up like a sound or something, I was unsire if I was doing the right thing.

Developer

Thanks!  You're totally right. Gonna add some animtion/sound feedback when you grab and release
