I'm feeling a little burnt out and development for my game is slowing down, I'm catching myself not working on the game and usually just on youtube
Any other fellow developers who experienced this, what can help get me more motivated?
I just posted a thread where I covered a couple of subjects, including slowing down. Here it is if you're interested:

So my advice is to slow down, and that slowing down for just a bit isn't always a bad thing.
But, you could maybe also sometimes think about ideas for the game when slowing down? If you want to.
Take a break. What happens when you keep pushing yourself when you're already burnt out is that you get increasingly little work done that is of worse quality than if you just rested.
I've taken breaks from making my game before, and I always feel rejuvenated and clear-minded when I come back. If you feel any anxiety over stopping work, just remember that the game will still be there when you're ready to start working again.
I see. What is the reason you started making your game in the first place? Is it a game you want to make, or one you felt you had to do for some other reason? Were you passionate about it before? Why did you burn out originally, and have you done anything to address what caused that feeling?
In my case, I had stopped work on my game for about a six month period. But once I started work on it again, I regained my old momentum very quickly as I still loved the project I had started. But it's a labor of love I am deeply passionate about, so that well of motivation fuels the discipline and consistency I need to keep working on the game even when it's not always fun to do.
Burnt out is something people experience in many situations. I used to constantly get burn out periods that's why I ceased game development for now . In regards to life in general to keep on top of things both mentally and physically. I set mini goals to achieve. Mind is constantly busy and fresh with ideas. A healthy diet and adequate sleep is essential. Drink lots of water. Exercise regularly keep yourself in best possible condition. Meditation is something great for the mind even just some ambient music and close your eyes for 15 minutes or so can go a long way to refreshing your mind. You can be super productive if you are focused, healthy and inspired mentally.
I started a lifestyle regime few years ago. I have much less time now than I had years ago but I'm achieving a huge deal more. Never had a burn out since aside from a few work related physical niggles.
