Hi, thanks for your interest! I just added a windows build, so have fun and let me know what you think :)

Thank you for the feedback, definitely noted!

Hueshift

Hi! I'm Steve, and I just released an endless runner called Hueshift. Dodge meteors, collect coins, do a few slick-looking wallruns, and run for your life! This is an addicting browser game you can play for a few minutes of your spare time.

The original concept for this game was made in one day. I made the game, and my buddy did an amazing job making the catchy soundtrack. Give it a try at the link below! Thanks for looking!

Thank you for playing!

Thanks boss!

Noted! I definitely needed to spend some more time working on the difficulty curve. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing!

This game is really cool, I love the art! The sprites are really well done and I really enjoyed the little dialogue where the character gave me some information. The gameplay was pretty fun, but I agree with the feedback that the sword is very powerful and I did not have much reason to use another weapon. Maybe if weapons broke/ran out of ammo, then I would have more reason to pick up weapons from the ground. Overall great concept, really charming game and great work!

This is awesome! The levels feel so nice and polished, you've really done a great job. Overall the amount of effort you put into polishing the game shows, everything from the pre-main menu intro sequence to the way the character moves. Amazing job!

The ammo mechanic is pretty interesting and fits the theme well. Maybe if the balls bounced off the walls, I could plan my shots so that the ammo bounces right back into me. I like the quick arcade-y feel of the game too. Sometimes I would run into an issue where the enemies would spawn on top of me and I'd immediately take damage, so that hindered gameplay a bit. Overall good concept! Mashing up a sports and shooter game definitely has some potential.

This is amazing! The two genres are very incompatible yet you made it work so well. Splitting my focus between the piano keys and dodging bullets was really fun and felt really rewarding when I pulled it off. Also after I played the song a few times, I started to learn it and nail the piano keys much easier which felt really satisfying. The visuals are simple yet effective, and I really appreciate how each time you land a piano key your wizard shoots a fireball, it just blends together really well. This is the most fun game I've played so far. Amazing work!

I really like the mashup of platformer and FPS here! Definitely really incompatible genres and you made it work pretty well. It could have been really jarring to swap between platforming and FPS modes but the little zoom effect made it really fun and smooth. If you had more time on this game, a few story additions would make this game killer. Really cool idea and good work!

I gotta say this is the longest I've spent playing any of these games. It was actually pretty addicting and I'm impressed at how many features you implemented given the time constraints. Admittedly I had a little trouble figuring out the discard mechanic, but it all works pretty well together and fits the theme. I had fun experimenting with the towers and upgrades so good stuff! Some audio would have been nice but you implemented so many other features I totally understand the limitations. Nice work!

Very cool! The graphics and audio are amazing and very charming. It reminds me of Crypt of the Necrodancer. I really appreciate how polished the game is, especially the really satisfying main menu sounds. The leaderboard is also a great addition. Sometimes I had a little trouble nailing down the beat of the song and getting my actions in. Maybe another visual indicator would have been nice to allow the player to know when they can jump etc. Overall though this was a lot of fun, nice work!

I have to admit, I was a little confused. I started to get the platforming after a while, but the hitbox on the spike block was a little too big so I found myself dying a lot. I think a little more guidance on the puzzles would have also helped. Lastly, pulling out the camera a little bit to allow the player to see more of the environment would also benefit this game. With a little work I can really see something interesting here!

This is a really cool concept! The idea of catching enemies and using them as towers is pretty unique. I also enjoyed moving my towers around to refine my strategy, and I feel like other tower defense games should use that more. I found a few bugs here and there but the game was still fun and the tutorial explains it pretty well. Nice work!

I appreciate it!

Thanks a lot!

The genre cohesion is really impressive here. I like the art style a lot, the simplicity really helps this game. Nice work!

Thanks a lot! And I appreciate the feedback, I will definitely take that into account.

I love it! The concept is very unique and the genres feel really cohesive. You nailed the reusable theme too. I also really like the tutorial videos, those felt really polished and informative. Nice work!

I like your take on the prompt by making a few minigames that flow into each other. Nice work!

Hey I can't download the game, it says the file is in the owner's trash. If you could fix that I'd love to try the game!

I'm having trouble getting the car to move, do you think I could get some controls to help me get started?

NOTE: I re-uploaded the build a few minutes after the jam was finished to fix a game-breaking bug.

Very fun!

I feel like most of the mechanics are really hard, I'll definitely make a better tutorial. Thanks for the feedback!

;)

That was really fun! I couldn't beat the road not taken level but the game overall was super engaging and actually made me think to complete each level. For this type of game, level design seems to be the key, and you nailed it.

It was really fun to explore the world and see what I can uncover for the boss fight. Nice job!

I really like the meta aspect of the game and I had a lot of fun going through the cutscene at the beginning. I also really appreciate the alt-F4 feature and the whole game had a genuinely interesting atmosphere. Nice work!

That was really cool! The platforming alone was pretty engaging, and when the signs, choices and boss fights came in I was very pleasantly surprised. The combat also feels nice and smooth, although I felt as though space would make a better jump button. Nice game, I had a lot of fun playing

Cool game, pretty spooky. A problem I encountered when playing is that sometimes an enemy would spawn in front of me right as the game began, causing for a quick game over. If you gave the player a little bit of a grace period as the game starts, that could help the flow of the game. Once I figured out how to dodge enemies I had a good time with the game. I also really liked the online leaderboard, it gave me a reason to keep playing. Nice job!

Noted, I totally see what you mean in terms of feedback in the early game. Thanks for the feedback!

For sure, the balance seems to be way off so far but thank you so much for playing and for the criticism!

Thank you!! I really like your ideas about how to improve the units, because to be completely honest I kinda had no idea how to make them more interesting. Thank you for the advice and criticism, and I'm glad you had fun!

Thank you so much! This is my first strategy game so the balance is totally off, I'll try to fix that!

I had a lot of fun playing, the art and beats are great and the whole game is so charming. Great work!

It definitely does! Karlson looks like an amazing game and Dani is a cool developer. I didn't actually know that Karlson was a game until fairly recently so I've been trying to make SUPERCHARGED different and stand out. Thanks for your interest!

Really cool concept, I had a lot of fun playing through all the levels. The sound effects are really satisfying too, great game
