Thank you! I really enjoy experimenting with noise, and it's certainly a niche genre to explore that I will definitely do more in the future. Thanks again for the kind words!

Hi! And thank you so much!

You can write either SamiH or Sami Hiltunen, either one works.

I will be sure to check your game out. Been looking at the amazing screenshots you have been posting on the community forums. Love the bizarre art style of the game so much!

Hello!

Here is a piece of experimental music I worked on.

Really cool game! Love the art and the scares, hope you keep developing this further. Sent you a dm on twitter yesterday.

Congrats on releasing your game and sharing it! Thank you for crediting me too, it's always appreciated!

"All of the sounds here fall under the CC0 license." So, you are free to use them as you see fit. No need to worry about any payments with these tracks.

Hi! Yes, it's all my original work. You are free to use these sounds anyway you like!

You are welcome! Hope you find the sounds useful!

I think with creativity you need other things to wind down every once in a while. You mention reading and playing as bad things, but actually what they do is give you a break from the work you were doing. A break that you need because you are a human being and not a machine. You can teach yourself work ethic and get things done to a certain point even when not feeling it, but at the end of the day creative work comes mostly from your mind. You need to feel well to be able to make things. Last thing you should do is cut back from sleeping or hobbies, those are the things people start from on their way to a burn out.

Try to be more forgiving towards yourself. Everyone learns at their own phase, and there is room for all of us to make things and evolve. There are examples of people who have worked tirelessly to try and achieve fortune, but have fallen short. Than there are people who seemingly don't even try and get everything. Life is unpredictable and may feel at times unfair. But if you strive to create for yourself first and foremost, because it is what you want to do, than you will get something out of it no matter what. And it will show in your work too.

I wish you all the best on your creative journey.

I have been really into a new band called Better Lovers and their first release, "God Made Me An Animal"

On the game soundtrack side of things, the Layers Of Fear 2 soundtrack has been on rotation. Really like it a lot.

Also The Last Door 2 soundtrack, my favorite song from that is "Requiem"

Oh, this is dope! The clipping and time glitching reminds a bit of Trifonic. Great job!

Really nice! I can imagine this being in a tactical fps, some anti terrorist unit running against the clock.

This was really cool! One of my favorites for sure. The jumpscare got me, was not expecting that. The climbing was good, maybe could have bit more variation with some qte's here and there (Maybe you are about to fall and need to do the qte). Overall, really nice job!

Hi!

I am not a game designer, but wanted to reach out if you need help with sound design in the future. I'd be happy to work with you.

You can find some of my work through here:

Hello!

Unfortunately don't have anything detective themed currently, but I would be interested in helping you out.

I am not available until the end of July though, so just something to keep in mind.

You can see some of my past work through here:

Oh, sounds interesting! I can definitely do any sounds you need and give the music a go too. If you can credit me in your work the payment is no problem. You can either send me an email at samihil.audio@gmail.com or contact me on discord samihilt#6149 for more information about the project. I would like to hear some reference/ inspiration for the music you are looking for, what kind of time we have to work on the project, if you have any script/ footage to share. Looking forward to working with you!

HI! If you need some help with sound design I could lend a hand. Got some free time coming up.

I'd gladly give it a shot. I can add you on discord and we can talk some more there.

The project looks really interesting. If you are in need of some sounds I can help you out.

Just bought the game on Steam, looked really interesting. Looking forward to playing!

This is an experimental audio piece I did, called: "You" - A Misanthropic Daydream

Really intense and awesome drum sound, I feel it gives this ost a strong foundation. Really like the lingering sounds and the sense of build up the first track has. The second track had a sense of DOOM (2016) soundtrack in the beginning. This is definitely one of my favorites of this jam!

The flute sounds good and mixes well with the drum you've chosen. Like the atmosphere this track builds, you really get that tribey feeling. Great job!

Such light hearted and fun experience! Can't help but to smile when listening to this one!

Really deep sound in this ost! The subtle high pitch noise in the first track adds to the ambience, there is a sense of the mechanical presence they are soon to find out lives in the forest. Great way to mix all these synths together and tie them into the story of the ost.

Wow! The first track really shows off the versatility of the ost and what's to come. What a great way to blend orchestral and rock. My favorites are tracks 1 and 4. Track 4 I love how the tracks kicks off after the intro part. Great job!

"The meaning of living is not just trying to be happy..." that is very true. I think this often myself. There is more to life than to just try and be happy and relaxed at all times. It is such a false thing many pursue, this shallow purpose for life. There is great joy and happiness but also sadness, great loss and pain in life. It is part of the experience of being alive. Your music really expressed this in a great way. This track felt like a journey! Beautiful piano composition and the choir added to it nicely!

You are really good at building the ambience in your tracks. Very subtle and beautiful ost!

Really liked how the track built up and kept evolving. Great job!

Amazing job! You have written some very haunting and beautiful music. My favorite track was "Deep in the dark woods", it has great ambience throughout.

You found a great blend of instruments. I really liked "He's Coming", the mix of all the percussive instruments was great. Good job!

This one is just a blast! Really awesome tunes. Not familiar at all with the process you describe on how you made this track. Really interesting.

Beautiful ambients you've built here, such rich sounds. Amazing vocals for sure. Really enjoyed this one!

Liked the intro on the track 2 and how the music kicked in, really cool stuff. Nice job!

Really bizzare and inventive ost. Never heard anything quite like this one.

Very creative for such a minimalistic score! Great job!

"Unexpected" really builds up into something amazing. Definitely my favorite track of the ost! I enjoyed your compositions a lot, quality is top notch!
