Really like the game! It is amazing to see a similar game being made on the Brackey's GameJam! Last year we made ours, there was also a cat spirit too. You might like it :D

I really love the cat puns and the funny dialogue. You did a great job on the theme too!

The voice acting made me chuckle! And the meme sounds and rounds had me laughing too. I like that the doors are moving from one side to the other, it adds dynamic. The lighting is also very nice with the spotlights. Well done on the game jam

Thank you bullfrog! I will take a look at it next time :

I will try again later! Good to know there is a wa

I don't see the build for the game?!

For some reason I am not able to enter the bathroom. And I fall through the house and I don't know what to do. Please let me know what I can do to prevent this. If you want a visual example, I streamed it at: twitch.tv/qwinsie

Thank you so much bullfrog! Very kind of you to say. Happy you enjoye <3

Unfortunately not able to play. This game is too heaavy on my pc cpu. I will try again later. But the screenshots look promising :D

I don't know how to reach the fourth sign in the main building. Really wished to continue. Maybe there is an alternative way to get furthur

Great game! I really enjoyed the challenge of timing the rocks in the dark.

Well done on the game. It plays really nice and the level layout is good. I like the variety of enemy fish and I also like how they behave. bubble animation is also nice. It is quiet challenging to defeat the octopus, because his firing speed is almost the same as the firing speed of the submarine. I also like that you can shoot the ink attack from the octopus.
Nicely done

Game feels really smooth. Controls are well done and movement switching directions feels great. I really like this small and short game. The map and compass help a lot and I really like how you are asked the question to use an item or to fight the enemy. Well done!

Very fun concept. I like how the ore change sprites when mining. I don't know exactly when and how ore spawns. I also really like how the lighting is rotating with the character with a smooth movement. Also appreciate the nice transition between scenes. Music also fits the theme. And the water gravity particles look smooth. I do not know why I couldn't mind the golden nuggets. I also got stuck in one of them. Did not know exactly what the final goal was other than getting the highest score. Lighting and art is beautiful. Well done on the game! :D

I like the story and concept of the game. I did not understand what to do when diving deeper. For some reason I kept dying at the start. I like the sound effects and the fact you have a lot of money, but also that equipment costs a lot of money.
well done on the game.

Nice game. I like where you sometimes need to lure the enemies and jump on higher platforms to reach the higher floating enemies to destroy them. Well done

Wow! Great work on the game mate. I like the level layout and the animation of the character (and the pickaxe) It is very clear what is expected from me. I would have liked to know earlier in the game that I should aim with my cursor. I realised this in the second level. Lighting also feels good
Congrats!

Unique to have used an engine I have not seen before. Not sure what the objective is, but well done on creating the game!

Nice game! Art style and music is great. Plays pretty good. A bit challenging due to the limited time. It is a shame the music doesn't work after some time for me. The shaking and pressure feels really smooth. Well done.

Hi! Thanks for your response and feedback. Funny that you mention Pikmin. We also thought about that when testing the game and debating if the every color should have a slightly different mechanic.

Good looking game. Creepy trees.
controls are a bit annoying. But fits the theme.
good game

Wow, incredible job on creating a game that fits so well together. Story, audio, visuals and gameplay. Very fun game. Animations look real smooth and voice acting is very nice. My only feedback is that it felt unfair that enemies spawn at your current location. If it was more obvious that they are spawning I could dodge them, but the spawning is so quick and the visual queue is difficult to see that it felt a little frustrating. I really like the level layout and that you used the environment to block paths. My other little feedback is that it felt a bit repetitive at the final level and wish there was something new or different. The reward of finding the bed and jumping on top of it with the story following was really nice. Music reminded me of Risk of Rain 2,  it fits real nice in this game. Lastly I really appreciate the option to change the movement direction.
Thank you!

I like the story and art style. The animations of the gull add character and is definitely a great addition. The falling cages fall too fast for me and is very challenging to dodge. Also I discovered to dash pretty late in the game. It would be nice for me to know that earlier.
I did not know what the main goal or objective was, which is a bit annoying. But there was a level to explore. Level felt a bit too big for what you could actually do. And it felt a bit unrewarding to dodge those obstacles and not gaining any reward for it. The music was very fitting.
Great job on the game jam :D

Nice concept/story and great variation of enemies. Music is really nice too, but some SFX feels really annoying to my ears, kind of like a static noise. I also like that you implemented a leaderboard. But for me it blocks my view when playing the game. Movement and shooting feels good.
Well done on the game.

I also have the same error and it seems not to get fixed. What a bummer. :(

Nice looking game. I like how you used a light source for the anglerfish lamp. Also the enemy fish do not chase you forever and their speed feels pretty good in comparison with the player speed. Time of the day takes a bit too long for me. The arrow point back at the starting position is a very good addition. Sometimes the shrimps are not being eaten when pressing 'E'.
Great job with the game

Well done on the game! I really like the artstyle and the smooth animations of the shark, submarine and particle effects. Game explains itself really well and therefor was not confused. Nice addition on the new upgrade after a level. Great work on your second game jam. Compliments

Really like the feel of the game. I feel very immersed. Sounds are also a great addition. Great work :D
I only had a little trouble reading the task at the information spot. The white text is for me unreadable when the the background is white because of the 'i' icon.

Thank you once again Tijs for your great teamwork and sound design with Glow in the Dark. Your quality music had an important addition to the whole atmosphere of the game and fits really well.

I really like the fact you have to jump down to the next floor and unable to return above. Boss battle feels challenging. Short game that works really well. It definitely starts spooky. The dash ability works a bit wonky when in the air, perhaps the player should have more gravity? Also in theory you could skip fighting the little enemies and run straight for the boss battle. Well done and nice level design to go either left or right giving the player a decision.

Quick game, but movement feels really good as well as the fight mechanic and pressure plates to open new areas. Could be extended more. Did not feel like there was a punishment for touching enemies. If there was it would have been more challenging. Very well done on the game!

Really nice and good looking game. Well thought out story and level design. You could definitely work this concept out even more.
Compliments and well done!

Fast, challenging and simple game. My submission actually uses the same mouse movement mechanic as yours. Great level design and the game works! Well done

Nice game. The puzzles start easy and become harder. I must say that the ASCII is creative, but it takes a bit too long to get the right numbers. I looked up the ACII table on the internet to help me out. Nice game! Good job

Well thought out game. I really like the mining and attacking in the water. While oxygen is running low it is quiet challenging. Eventually it became a bit repetitive. Still a really great game. Art and music good. For feedback I would advice to make a better transition between the sea area and land area. Also some coins are randomly place and appeared on the right side of the purple tentacle, which I couldn't reached. Pufferfish timing event works well and I especially like it that you gave the player the decision of choosing what to upgrade. Great game!

Unfortunately unplayable for me due to the pressure increasing too fast for me. I believe the pressure is tied to frame rate instead of time. I would take a look at the difference between FixedUpdate() and Update(). Art and story is really nice!

I think you are right about this.

Really liked this small game. Movement feels really nice and the combat works as expected. The kick really adds something unique. Compliments for making the game short and fun than to extend it more in quantity and not quality. Music, art and controls feel really good.
Great job!

The artstyle, mechanics and atmosphere are really great! Well done! The story adds to the game too. I find the ending really unrewarding for the 10+ minutes I spent waiting and sometimes checking oxygen. Also, it looks like the fire only appears when pressing spacebar, which is kind of weird, because you could easily stop the fire from happening by not pressing the spacebar. The sound effects were really spooky and the autopilot is a great addition. I would have liked it more if there was more to do on your long trip. A way to increase or decrease your speed by taking risks. Or more story/interesting elements to do while on your trip. Great submission.

Artstyle and animations look really nice. Upgrades are a nice extra touch. 1000 meters did feel a lot, especially when there isn't a lot of things changing on your way deeper in the ocean. Some fish move really quick making it challenging to dodge them. Nice and working game. Well done and good job
