I like the graphics and the gameplay is pretty fun. Though at level 4 or 5 the game just completely breaks.

Yeah, I definitely understand, 48 hours is a tiny time window to make a game in. I nearly ran out of time myself while making my game, and ended up not implementing some of my more complicated ideas.

The concept is certainly interesting and has a ton of potential for puzzles. The art is quite nice, as are the puzzles, even if they're a bit easy. I don't really like the controls though. Why do I have to hold down space to control the other character? I feel like a toggle would have made much more sense. Also, why can't I use WASD? Arrow keys are a bit awkward to use in my opinion. Still a pretty nice game.

A very interesting concept, but I found the most effective strategy to just be spamming units constantly. Because of the lack of control you have of anything, the game doesn't really have much strategy besides what units you place. However, I still somehow found game this quite enjoyable and satisfying, but I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe just creating a total bullet hell for the hero stimulates the "numbers go up"-part of my brain lol, so clearly you did something right that I didn't realize.

A pretty cool game. The art is great, and I love the concept of mixing the stressful overcooked-style gameplay with enemies that you have to dodge. However, I'm personally not a huge fan of the gameplay. It's not very interesting, and it's only stressful until you realize that angering the heroes doesn't really have any serious consequences most of the time. Most of the heroes don't pose a threat in the slightest, especially the goblins.

Yeah, I definitely should have made a couple of things more clear in the game. And the slightly wonky AI of the snakes definitely doesn't help with that either.

Yes, the way you can kill the snakes in the early game by luring them into walls (which I also ended up balancing the early game around) is definitely a bit unintuitive, which I didn't realize during development. Glad you still enjoyed!

Wow, a very impressive game for a game jam. I've searched through all reverse snake games made in this jam, and they all have had their own unique twist and vibe (including mine! :D). This one is in 3D, and I think it's executed wonderfully. The gameplay is fluid and fast-paced, and I love how you can kill the snakes by multiple different means unlike most other reverse snakes. There's also a nice amount of content, that being the multiple types of powerups. The art is quite good and the game is very polished. Good job :)

(Btw, there was a bug where I just became invincible indefinitely for some reason)

Cool, another reverse snake game! (I made one too!) Maybe not the most creative one I've seen, but definitely quite fun. I think the presentation is awesome, I really like the art. You tend to die quite frequently in this game, so the respawn time could be a bit faster. Also, maybe there should be indicators of where the obstacles will spawn? Otherwise great game :)

Quite a good game! This is a bit like a tower-defense game but still has the frogger vibe to it. The game's pretty polished and the presentation is very good. Good job :)

The idea is great, and I love the presentation, but I don't think the gameplay differs from any other point and click game in any way. A fine game overall.

This is incredibly fun and addicting! Probably the best gameplay of any reverse snake game I've played so far in the jam. (one of which I made!)

The snake is implemented in a great way. Its acceleration and speed are absolutely perfect for this gameplay, which makes the game very fast-paced. It's almost faster than you, which makes it feel threatening.

The food-kicking mechanic is masterfully designed and implemented. Because the food lures the snake away from you, it's beneficial to kick the food away from the snake. However, you get points when the snake eats the food, so kicking it directly into the snake is beneficial. This way, kicking the food almost always results in a good outcome, and makes you feel like a wizard. The mechanic is also polished and satisfying.

The voicelines are goofy and the art is very impressive for a game jam this short. Great job :)

Btw. the volume slider doesn't work on browser.

Another great reverse snake game! I like the strategic potential of the bait mechanic as it can both lure the snake to where you want it to go (i think?) and also grow it so it dies more easily. The art and music are quite nice. The only little thing I don't quite like is the way touching the edges awkwardly disrupts your movement. Still a great game! :D

It's fun to see how other people designed the snake game in reverse. Every one of them I've seen so far has had their own unique vibe and special twist. (check out mine as well!)

Lol, I really should have made it more clear how the game works! The snake AI especially is a bit wonky because the snakes don't move on a grid. I hope you still enjoyed though!

The early game balance might be a bit off. There are health pickups in the game (not sure if you saw them), but they have a random chance of appearing each wave until the much later waves. More health pickups would also incentivise using the teleport ability more.

It's actually possible to trick the snakes to hit the walls without losing any health yourself - which is what I mostly designed the balance around. I now realize that I didn't make that clear enough.

A great take on the reverse snake idea! I love the strategic uses of the provoke/hide ability and the fact that it alternates creates an interesting ebb and flow to the gameplay. I also like the clean and clear presentation. It's maybe a bit too difficult, but otherwise great game!  :)

WOW. Immediately after playing the first level I knew this was worth 5 stars in every single category. In fact, I don't think just 5 start does this game justice. The concept, gameplay, art and the soundtrack are just incredible, not to mention the level of polish. The single best submission I've played BY FAR. Incredible :)

This is a really impressive game to create in a game jam (even if the art is pre-existing). This has probably the largest amount of content of any submission i've seen so far. Also really fun and interesting strategy gameplay. I wish this had some music/sounds but I understand completely if there was not enough time for that. Still an excellent game!

Cool concept and incredible art and music! The gameplay is a bit jank and boring, and after a while I couldn't place anymore NPCs even though I removed the ones I used.

I like the art and music, but the game is barely functional. The character will constantly clip through the walls if I rotate the level at all. Also the game just feels like an extra janky platformer with reversed controls.

Very funny and great game.

The art and vfx is very good. I like the voicelines and the newspapers are great and funny. While the concept is interesting, the controls feel really bad and jank. There's a huge delay between my inputs and the movement, at least on the browser (not sure if that's intended). It's also somewhat laggy, but that might be a problem on my end. Overall still very good job :)

Pretty cool game. I like the concept of the food working together with the snake and not just running away from it (unlike in my reverse snake game). The controls are a bit janky because you have to spam the movement keys. Also the sound of the snake dying is like an audible jumpscare, it's way too loud.

Wow, this is really good! This has a lot of mechanics and enemies (much more than my reverse snake implementation), and their quantity does not drag down the quality. I really like the mechanic of the snake eating other enemies, which adds risk&reward to the game! Good job :)
