This game is pretty cool! I got stuck with the room with the breakable vase and 4 slugs, the vase doesn't reset when you restart the room and I think that made it impossible to clear. I had trouble reading the latin italics on the bright background as well.

I'm streaming tonight at 10pm BST, plan to go for three hours. Unlike last session, I'll be rating and reviewing after the stream has concluded, though I will be expressing my feedback verbally on stream. https://twitch.tv/heroiczephyr

After performing a stream thursday night and having to end early due to illness, I will be doing the same again today. I will try and be back on Saturday

I'm updating to say I'll be streaming on Friday, after commitments. I'm going to aim for about 8pm BST and go for a couple of hours. Thankfully what I had was only around for about 48 hours.

So good news is that I'll be streaming all morning tomorrow. I aim to start at around 10am BST, and we'll see how much we can get done throughout the day. I'll aim another stream for sunday 7th

edit - I've had to postpone due to a throat issue developing today. I'll update when I can continue

Games played today

8. Da Fridge's Adventures 2

9. Bildungsroman: Murders in the Sanatorium

10. Platformer2

11. Fiesty Fauna

12. Turn Based RPG Demo

I may have time for one last minute session this coming Friday night, but only if schedule permitting. I'll update further closer to that time.

I love old games :) I managed to make it to the end of the demo, fun quick combat that is mashable, was easy to learn and pick up, didn't take long to grind. The gameplay loop is fun, the graphics are nice. Some assets don't entirely match up but I really like the monster sprites. I think a different button for the menu would also be handy as I'd keep opening it after every fight due to it being the accept key. Otherwise, really fun game with all the difficulty spikes I would expect for a game this nature, but not frustratingly so. Well done and keep it up :)

First of all I love the little chibi art in this game, its very cute, the gameplay is simple and easy enough to also play on a phone if that is a thing in the future. I like the big easy to read fonts, clean UI and the gameplay is simple enough to play. In my time of playing the only thing I wish there was, was a dash/evade button, it feels like the only way to progress is to die and use the coins collected to progress further. I don't know if this is the intention, but what you have here is great, keep it up :)

Very addictive gameplay, perfect for someone who doesn't have a lot of time. I could see people playing this after work / after school just for a quick decompress or a little bit of fun. Would also make a fantastic mobile game. Music was fab, I wouldn't change a thing. I feel like this game could be expanded later into a more elaborate platformer with mechanics from this. Keep it up :)

Very good game, very long and substantial demo that I was unable to finish else missing out on reviewing other entries, however I did get very far, and I did get to the point with the three girls. I think you have fantasic writing that I admire, I also appreciated your landing page was very attractive and well constructed. The story was intreging and I don't usually get a lot of time to play visual novels, this one hooked me in and I'll be playing more later in my own time.

Sound is great, I thought the music on the Emilia interrogation section dragged on a little to long and could have been supplimented with some change, silence or sound for effect, in comparison I think the beginning really uses sounds well so you could use that as a point of reference. Otherwise amazing work, please keep it up, I'd love to see you continue this.

I loved this cute little game, I wish I was better at it though.

The sprite art is one of my favourite things about it, it's very fluid, there's pixel squishing when you land, and it it doesn't need to be any more detailed than it is - it serves its purpose. The sound was great, things to perhaps look at is switching up the background music a little, this is only a suggestion but rather than change the whole song when you get to, say the kitchen, perhaps just a note changes in the song to alter the feel of it.

As far as gameplay goes, it works as intended, though one senitment that we agreed on on the stream was the hitting range on the punch that the character makes needs to be a little longer. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this one, and I hope you continue to develop it.

Further games are due to be played today at 9pm GMT +0 18/03/2023 at https://www.twitch.tv/heroiczephyr

I would take this as critical feedback then. As far as things go, both my stream community and me had concerns of what we were going into, and that could be due to the opening presentation. Out of respect for my own community, I have chosen not to continue the game. You could consider reworking this slightly so you don't see this again in the future. I take my platform very seriously and I take caution what type of content I stream. I hope you continue to progress on your game and don't take this feedback too harshly.

Saturday 9pm GMT 18/03/2023 will be my next streaming date for other submissions.

We aborted one game during play that is not mentioned here, due to moral and content concerns (and it was not because of the use of AI)

1. Frogue Legacy

2. Scatterbrain

3. Laboratory X-29

4. Crab Raid Tactics

5. Pelikan Puzzle

6. Flannery Flames - prelude

7. Aerostrike

I plan to play more Saturday

Really fun game. It's hard to find feedback for this, but keep working on it.

I would say maybe create an even easier mode for the uber casuals who just want to see the game to competion.

Game is great, I find the bosses too hard. The game gives you plenty of movement options, but it doesn't really take advantage of them. I think this game would actually be an amazing platform first, rather than a boss rush game as the demo, but that's just me. I would say definitely tune down the bosses more, but I think the electric guy was the right kind of difficulty.

Keep it up :)

As others have stated, there's no animation for matching cans together, it seems like an asset that's not being used. I liked the game but it seems to be missing a lot, like perhaps a score for matching more at once, or some kind of feedback of how you're doing in the game. The UI of course needs work, especially the level transitions. When I won the game, the game just closed immediately, the congratulations screen showed for about half a second.

I really like puzzle games and this made me wanna play more columns, keep it up :)

Thanks for sharing your game. I think this game is fairly cute, I like the crab names, I feel like there are a lot of improved to be had.

Namely the game seems to chug even an i9 computer so it has room to be optimized a lot. I think if the enemies didn't look like cubes, I would care more about what I was attacking. Game needs music and some kind of stringent objectives, I got to encounter 5 before I quit playing because there wasn't anything that feed the addiction to keep playing, maybe the encounters need something more interesting going on. The way to move the crabs felt kind of weird, I was expect more league or age of empires styled movement but it had a more cumbersome control scheme that I didn't enjoy as much - it felt like I was taking a lot of needless steps to move.

Great work so far, keep it up :)

Lovely little game almost wished there was more of it. I would say that the game needs a little bit of a proofread and checking of collison against certain objects but I did have a lot of fun with this one. Keep it up :)

Lovely little game. Sweet, short and simple. My only feedback here is that the reaction time is too quick on some - perhaps an audio cue would suffice to suppliment the problem. I could seen the positive and negative thought graphics seeing some improvement visually over time. Keep it up :)

A cute little game, with cute art. I love it though there are several improvements to be made. Notably the UI - I had trouble determining what upgraded what, I was just clicking on things and hoping for the best. I also wish that the tongue of the frog was more rapid fire so it hits enemies held down rather than individually clicking on each one.

All in all, fun experience. Keep it up! :)

Minutes of Game is off tommorrow so I have a free slot Monday this week. I'll be streaming 13/03/2023 from 9pm GMT +0 onwards. Well do as many games we can in that time.

My twitch is > HeroicZephyr

I would be interested. I already do a Monday block called "Minutes of Game" - but I wouldn't mind expanding the amount of games I can see/play.

Thank you so much!

At first the idea came from making a map that was purposely bad, as the joke is with with some RPG Maker games of lesser quality. But the more I thought on it, the more stuff like Pokemon's Glitch city kinda creeped me out, so I ended up going for something a bit different in the end.

Thank you very much for the review!

I don't code, so most of it was just made up.

Marsha bug is interesting and I'm surprised I missed it, but the qa period was pretty short.  Thanks for the feedback!

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I don't often participate in game jams but I just had this one idea in concept and ran with it.

Honestly it's hard for me to distinguish what's supposed to be grammatically correct vs what wasn't supposed to be. This is kind of unlike anything I've really made before.

Thanks for checking the project out! Much love.

Thanks so much! I will make my decision within the next few weeks. I appreciate the response.

Heya. I've published a single free game to steam in my time so I have an understanding of RPG Maker and it's systems, but I'm more on the artistic spectrum in terms of when it comes to composing UI and I think something like this would work well with what I plan to create next. My only question is how simple is it to get into with that in mind?

I would like to make sure before I decide to spend 30$ on something I cannot really make any use of. Thank you in advance if you get the chance to respond in some way.

The music samples are fantastic!

Hey, what are the reuse rights on this? Commerical or non commercial? Also what name credits must be used? Thanks.
