Very addictive gameplay, perfect for someone who doesn't have a lot of time. I could see people playing this after work / after school just for a quick decompress or a little bit of fun. Would also make a fantastic mobile game. Music was fab, I wouldn't change a thing. I feel like this game could be expanded later into a more elaborate platformer with mechanics from this. Keep it up :)

Very fun game. Controls took me a minute to get used (maybe a bit floaty), when I got them I really enjoyed the platforming. Loved the idea with the rotating level- must have been hard to design levels that work from four sides.
The only downside was the graphics. Lots of people will look at it and figure it's another "jumping-square-I-my-first-unity-project" kind of game, and not really give it a try. Maybe consider using some free assets, paid asset pack, or getting a graphics guy (I've done all of the above with varying results).
Had lots of fun- keep up the good work!
thanks for the feedback! And yea not really sure what to do with the graphics yet lol. Either gonna think of a theme/story that fits and redo all the graphics or just add some lighting effects and call it a day.
For the movement controls did you feel like when you hold jump it floated at the top longer than expected? I made it so that it floats for a certain amount of time if you’re holding jump before applying the full gravity strength- not sure if I made the jump float time a bit too long
Really cool game! The controls are in most cases fantastic. I just had trouble to learn how to wall jump, but I get the feeling that this is just me sucking at platformers... The background music is great. The design is minimalistic, but functional. I think you will add here more later.
I also like the tutorial with the texts showing up while you go on the edges of the game. I just hope nobody gets stuck on the start screen trying to click on the tutorial... (I didn't, but I could imagine, some might...)
My nerves are too weak for such games, so I didn't play for too long, but I can see that this is going into a very good direction and could imagine that the final game will find its fan base!
- A very clever approach to level design!
- Controls feel quite comfortable, although landing on one-square platforms is a bit hard
- Wall jumping and sliding feels nice
- Smoothed camera movement contributes to the game feel nicely
- World 2: Was able to skip some of the green squares and go for the last one, don't know if that's intentional
- Found a couple of glitches (dying on a jump pad sometimes kicks you up when you respawn, there is a way to stand on a moving jump-pad platform) - but they are very hard to encounter and generally do not spoil the fun
Good luck!
