I have joined the Discord but its all Portuguese :), and I couldn't find a jam texting channel. So I am asking here:

Should we create games with a retro theme or is it enough to follow one of the 3 themes and some of the diversifiers?

Now I noticed something, maybe will be helpful for you, the day is fluid, no problem at all, but the night gives fps drop. Maybe you should check some effects for the night.

I downloaded the APK, maybe my phones current battery level increased the issue but still while I can play platformers with this battery level, couldn't play the level with flames. Other levels were not perfectly fluid but playable enough.

This is a nice concept, feels like a bit Flappy Bird. You can also consider a version that player rotates the circles and the ball goes itself. And if you want to continue, you can consider skins like spaceship, submarine, race car, running dog etc.

The game made me think :) Fun game 👏

I think you should continue developing this game, I don't know if there is a game with the same concept but that is a fun concept, beware of the fps problem though. Especially in the level with flames it became unplayable for me.

Thank you for the feedback. I am planning to improve the game a lot. You are right the food looks like islands right now :)

Simple and unique, that is a perfect jam game. I don't think you can go anymore with that idea but this version is a nice 10 mins game. After I started counting the seconds it got too easy, maybe a temperature at 4C would make it harder. But like I said it is a perfect jam game, congrats!

Thanks, you don't eat, you lead your flock to eat. The enemies seek food to grow, when the food is consumed, they start fighting. So you can try the same as well. I am planning to expand upon the concept, I want to create a 2D fish version of Mount and Blade :)

Thanks a lot :)

Damn! Amazing concept and satisfying animations. Loved it, bravo!

I am glad you enjoyed.

I feel like the AI is not a real AI :) But completed the game with curiosity. Interesting concept. Congrats!

Nice texts :) I don't know how to give feedback on this :)

Really fun game, I was throwing my colleagues one by one but  after I shoot em serially, managed to kill the boss. Co-workers are pass cards or bullets rather than NPC's. But fun game.

Art looks good, the game is a bit like visual novel, you click and continue the story. Also at the end I could not find the way to go to cemetery, and I move through right fences, between trees I went to the cemetery by forcing a bit :)

Oh thanks.

Is swimming koi fish on itch.io or on Steam? I would like to take a look.

The core idea is so good. But it is hard to play because you accidentally pass the rock and when it is behind you need to start over, or am I missing something. Yeah Sisyphos story is about starting over but the rock is not rolling, I am going too fast for the rock :) Maybe fast walking would be good. But like I said the idea is very good, you can create a Bennet Foddy style game from it.

Thanks!

No I was just kidding, my cat always tries to catch moving visuals on the screen. No need to be sorry :)

I wasn't expecting this much of an explosion :)
Also my cat tried to catch the mouse and I couldn't make the mouse run fast enough to run away :)

Thanks!!

I choose the darkness and die :)), why is there a choice to choose darkness and lose the game I don't now but made me laugh.

Lots of new stuff could be added but I have read you did in 1 hour. So it is good for a 1 hour effort I guess :)

Shaders looking good, movement in 3D space is hard but I guess it should be, maybe mouse rotation would be better. I did very low scores :) because I am impatient to learn movements. Music is really good.

Really cute game. Text is hard to read bc it is tiny and also pixelated. Music is awesome.

Great game, very creative. Walking animations remind me the animator Don Hertzfeldt.

I figured out what the stamp does after my two flyers, because I was placing the elements with their borders. But I guess it did not affect the score.

By the way that is how you find a dog 😎

Thanks for your detailed feedback, there are lots of things going on in the background but could not find the time to create tutorials or instructions. I totally agree with you, some feedback, animations and particles would be great but I don't even have a menu :)

I started yesterday and mainly focused on the NPC challenge, so I am happy to finish this playable version.

It seems like I achieved to submit :) Phew!

Hey I could not submit the game because of a technical problem, how can I submit?

I did 73.21 🥳, but best score is still 82 seconds by @Scuuter.

Thank you, for me 30 seconds is a good time, but @Scuuter said I did 82 seconds and saw the end of the map. Yeah darn red soul is ruthless, I told him to take it easy but did not listened to me lol.

I would like to give feedback in return :) but I am using Mac. Good luck for you!

Thanks for your comment, yes because I lack art and sound producing. Maybe I need to find a partner to create the artistic part.

The music is awesome!

You can check my plan for this fish game if you are interesting:

Also I am using my Ludum Dare game "Summoning Bridges" and "Icescape" for my other plan:

So I am using jams to develop my games step by step :)

Thanks, this is only to show the fish movement for potential partners and initial funders. The plan for this game is to create an underwater fish version of the Mount and Blade.

I don't know if it fits the theme or not, but your game is looking good. You can consider one thing, always turning map creates dizziness for me, but maybe that is only me. Looking too good for a 2 days jam. Bravo 👏
