GREAT GAME!! the art style is cool

Developer

Thanks!! It’s thick and chunky haha

The game was interesting. I just liked putting bunch of stickers on the flyers and seeing it gain more attention hehe.

Developer

Haha yeah I made it so some of the humans like seeing a lot of stickers on there. I should have made it so like if the stickers did a good enough job explaining then they could take the place of some actual info… though I feel like I’d need more stickers for that haha. Thanks for the feedback!

This game was really fun and chill! I just liked making the flyers and also being able to look at all the ones you made before!

Developer

Excellent, that was a last minute addition! I was hoping to make a mini representation of what you’d created, but I scrapped that because I was running out of time (as always). Thanks for the feedback!!

From the visuals, to the subject matter the game is very quirky, I love it. I wish there was some indication of where to place the flyers before hand. Like, maybe the post changes size based on scale or something. As it stands placement felt a bit random. Very good game though, congrats.

Developer(+1)

Ooh that’s a good point, I should have slightly scaled the humans based on depth as well. The height is more of an arbitrary value than a random one, and I originally had it so it was a little more obvious in the area names (Shortville, Tallville). I think I need to rethink that particular mechanic because it feels a bit too random unless you’re literally the developer and know beforehand what is expected.

That’s always the trade-off though, like how much information do you give the player and how much should they have to figure out through play. Thanks for the feedback!! :)

dude i love itt realy and so simple art

Developer

Thanks man! It started off as placeholder art but I liked how it looks so I just ran with it. 8px circle brush in Gimp (and 6px for the stickers) haha

Love it. Very creative and unique, spot on art! Great work!

Very unique game, it was an entertaining play. Nice graphics as well.

Developer

Thanks! I latched on to the most unique concept I had while I was brainstorming (though I did have to cut it way back from my initial plan because I’m terrible at time management) :)

Such a cute and cozy game concept, really enjoyed the relaxing music and pace.

Developer(+1)

Woohoo, glad you liked the music! I spent time messing around on my ukulele making short pieces that sounded nice looped, and I was pretty proud of how they came out. Thanks for the feedback!

Great game, very creative. Walking animations remind me the animator Don Hertzfeldt.

I figured out what the stamp does after my two flyers, because I was placing the elements with their borders. But I guess it did not affect the score.

By the way that is how you find a dog 😎

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I kinda like how the art turned out, because it started as just rough sketches and then I was like, but what if the whole game was just rough sketches haha.

I think the whole borders on the stamp needed a bit more explanation, though it’s always hard when you don’t have anyone test the game before you release it. I should have spent more time tweaking the scoring, as it’s a little haphazard right now.

One of the best game so far, like the innovation

Developer

Thanks!! :D

I love it! I can't stop playing!

Developer(+1)

Awesome, thanks!! :D

I could play this for hours (it's already been like 20 minutes lol)! I think maybe having the controls explained a little more openly would be great, but I figured them out on my own! Super fun idea and I'd love to see a more expanded version of this!

Developer(+1)

Oh man I had to cut back on so many ideas I had for this haha. Glad you enjoyed it, thanks!!

Submitted(+1)

Super fun idea! I couldn't see where to get info on what the people in the area wanted or their heights, but even just having a guess was very fun. My posters were a little too jazzy for some.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Yeah essentially it’s just about guessing and learning for next time. I originally had the names a little more obvious (like Shortville, Tallville, etc), so this was the halfway because I had also wanted to add a little map on the desk so you could get some basic info on the areas that would fill in whenever you finished a flyer for that area. It’s hard to resist making a flyer with a lot of stickers on it haha
