I don't think they can compete with visual novels.
I think text based games can work if it's a spinoff to some popular media, anyone who is a lore head will enjoy that. My opinion tho
-My art skills have helped me design my projects in a way I am satisfied in showing in the form of games or pieces
-I think I need some more clarifying information about question 2
-Start small, practice on the software you want to learn and build up your skills from that
-Not all of my projects come to the limelight due to market fluctuations and trends, I wish I had prioritized the project in a different form
-So far my project "Lovin-Stein" is a passion project with no monetary incentive until the demo is fully out and I work on the rest of the game. I take maybe too many breaks
-My visual novel is all about the characters and the struggles they have to go thru in life and how to handle them.
-Inspirations from other visual novels like Sucker for Love and I wani hug that gator
-I'm here to create games for fun and maybe have a small fandom, I know for a fact that will keep me going.
Have a great day :)
I got a romantic visual novel with some comedy and mystery for you!
It's called "Lovin-Stein"
After a tragic death, you come back as a Frankenstein monster by a sweet, yet mad scientist. Face your second chance at life in this hilariously spooky adventure full of mystery, comedy and monster girls!
Currently there are two endings and two paths in the current demo, in future updates, I will be expanding on the story of all the girls and explore their paths.
I update with exclusive art on my official Twitter and Bluesky

Personally I am working on one big game, Not one that's mechanically advanced, but story rich.On the other hand, in my off time, I like to work on the plot and lore of another game/VN I might want to work on in the future
On top of that, If I am bored, I study the game platforms that I want to put said games.
I would love for you to try out my visual novel called "Lovin-Stein"Thank you so much for the review!
I am well aware of the grammatical issues and the shading issue and I have addressed these issues in my first patch notes in the devlog.
This has given me a lot of insight as to where I can improve the game to make it as pleasant and fun as possible and I am so grateful.
I shall be going further into fixing these issues, improving the story and expanding on the characters!
