Amazing artstyle and softbody is a nice touch. Had to restart the game a couple times because I was stuck in ice form and couldn't die. Overall I enjoyed this game a lot!

Last 2 puzzles were nice! My biggest issue is that launch input gets eaten very often, so you need to stand in one place and spam it to be reliable

I liked the audio. I think levels shouldn't be randomly selected, I wanted to explore new levels, not replay the same ones

Swapping weapons feels great, but all weapons are surpassed by the ice cream beam, so you just swap back to it

Nice art! Some of the jumps felt too tight (probably half my deaths was on walljump section with a singular spike at the top right) but I did get to the end
bait used to be belie- holy shit is that v1 ultrakill

Thanks for the review! The arrow (on the circle) indicates at what angle the arrow will release once you release LMB, and you can spin it to speed up or slow down the arrow. Looks like a lot of people didn't understand that mechanic, so I should've spent more effort on the tutroials

The art is amazing! The controls are very hard however, my best try was only 1.5 barricades. I lost a lot of resources trying to go faster and ramming into something, and missing a building means you need to complete an entire loop again as you can't really go against current

Great audio and art. Witnesses don't really like nudging and often stop talking after first click though

Main mechanic is fun, and music is good! I don't think you can really lose though, enemies don't deal much damage. Got the dragon to cover almost the entire map but that didn't count as a loop (probably is a good thing). Making a half-map loop works, but produces extreme sounds  and drops fps to ~2

Thanks for review! I actually had a level select while debugging but thought it wouldn't be needed, guess I was wrong

It's fun! For some reason, you can put sushi on plates while they are spinning, and I think because I played with food next level (7th I think?)  got broken and I couldn't play cards

also this cat single-handedly destroyed an economy

Cool voiceover! Having to walk all the way from the start on each death isn't very fun though

Neat game! Found two solutions to final level, wonder if this was intended?

Early game is tough until you get hp upgrades and tether length, because you often need to ram someone to complete your loop before tether runs out, otherwise fun!

Presentation is good! Difficulty scaling (ie speeding up the belt) would be nice, got 81400 score without missing any food before stopping.

Controls (especially walljump) feel quite slippery and inconsistent. Beat it on easy mode

Controls feel very clunky because the arm thing is quite slow and auto-grabs stuff

Relaxing game. More control over cotton candy shape would be nice

Impressive, all-around polished game! Web build does get laggy quite fast, win build ran with no problems. This definitely can become a full game. Survived for 756 seconds. My only problems are that there is no end screen and upgrade preview

Web build, firefox. Also it was not A and W but arrow keys, as I found playing this way easier

Pretty fun! For some reason I can't jump while holding both A and W, which ruined a couple runs. Collision was a bit awkward, I got hit in the air pretty often and one time went out of bounds, so I had to slow down before jumps. In the end I got a 51.710 run

Appreciate the lengthy review! I definitely should've made the game more forgiving. I didn't think it would take that long, I aimed for about 15-20 minutes of gameplay, but I am, of course, biased because I literally made the game. Making a track for each checkpoint is a great suggestion.

Yeah, I went overboard with that difficulty spike, probably to the point that it was too frustrating. There is another segment after the elevator, similar in difficulty, so not very fun

Fun game, and looks very good! I didn't really have time to think about what orders to fulfil as I had to constantly check on the ships though, and buying ships after filling menu to the left doesn't add new ones but you still lose money

I love eating plastic fish

As in choppy camera movement or low fps in general?

More aggressive enemies would be nice - most of them just stayed in place and I felt too overpowered. Also, you can go behind final boss and wreck him.

Nice story!
For some reason my ship went invisible mid boss battle and I had to complete the game while I wasn't able to see my ship. Also turn speed was very fast

(1 edit)

Pretty fun, nice level progression. I found that I can launch myself using rocks on second level instead of taking a path to the right, which I don't think was intended. Only downside really was the camera, which sometimes clipped into terrain.

Best ending screen btw

Cool game, great presentation and enemy sounds were nice. Combat against normal enemies got pretty tedious though, but against mages it felt good, as you had to position yourself more and they didn't have that much hp. Something like slash attack to hit multiple enemies would help against stacks of three and more normal enemies

Pretty simple but well executed, especially presentation! Overall platforming felt great. I didn't quite understand if pickups (other than runes) did anything, and character was a bit jittery.

Nice game, but procedural generation could use some work, as it stopped me from progressing twice by generating a closed corridor

Very fun and polished! My best is 1 minute 9 seconds. My only complaint is that when camera snaps from one area to another you end up aiming at the wrong angle, so double jumping on an impact bullet on the right was hard, and instead I had to precisely shoot one bullet.

Vehicle physics were fun, I finished with a total of 10 crashes. Map could really use more complexity though. Some bugs: building with an overhang had a wrong collider (too thin?), and return to main menu button on win screen didn't work

Yeah, some pirate-y (and maybe something in style of eurobeat shanties? once you get several upgrades) would add a lot to the game, but I, unfortunately, have little experience in making music, so I didn't add it

Nice puzzles! I've beat the game on 3rd try because green rocks melted my hp first two times while I tried to grab a chest. I'm not sure that first "magic" bar is needed, as waiting for it to refill was not fun and I didn't find a way to refill it faster.
