Web build, firefox. Also it was not A and W but arrow keys, as I found playing this way easier

Pretty fun! For some reason I can't jump while holding both A and W, which ruined a couple runs. Collision was a bit awkward, I got hit in the air pretty often and one time went out of bounds, so I had to slow down before jumps. In the end I got a 51.710 run

Appreciate the lengthy review! I definitely should've made the game more forgiving. I didn't think it would take that long, I aimed for about 15-20 minutes of gameplay, but I am, of course, biased because I literally made the game. Making a track for each checkpoint is a great suggestion.

Yeah, I went overboard with that difficulty spike, probably to the point that it was too frustrating. There is another segment after the elevator, similar in difficulty, so not very fun

Fun game, and looks very good! I didn't really have time to think about what orders to fulfil as I had to constantly check on the ships though, and buying ships after filling menu to the left doesn't add new ones but you still lose money

I love eating plastic fish

As in choppy camera movement or low fps in general?

More aggressive enemies would be nice - most of them just stayed in place and I felt too overpowered. Also, you can go behind final boss and wreck him.

Nice story!
For some reason my ship went invisible mid boss battle and I had to complete the game while I wasn't able to see my ship. Also turn speed was very fast

(1 edit)

Pretty fun, nice level progression. I found that I can launch myself using rocks on second level instead of taking a path to the right, which I don't think was intended. Only downside really was the camera, which sometimes clipped into terrain.

Best ending screen btw

Cool game, great presentation and enemy sounds were nice. Combat against normal enemies got pretty tedious though, but against mages it felt good, as you had to position yourself more and they didn't have that much hp. Something like slash attack to hit multiple enemies would help against stacks of three and more normal enemies

Pretty simple but well executed, especially presentation! Overall platforming felt great. I didn't quite understand if pickups (other than runes) did anything, and character was a bit jittery.

Nice game, but procedural generation could use some work, as it stopped me from progressing twice by generating a closed corridor

Very fun and polished! My best is 1 minute 9 seconds. My only complaint is that when camera snaps from one area to another you end up aiming at the wrong angle, so double jumping on an impact bullet on the right was hard, and instead I had to precisely shoot one bullet.

Vehicle physics were fun, I finished with a total of 10 crashes. Map could really use more complexity though. Some bugs: building with an overhang had a wrong collider (too thin?), and return to main menu button on win screen didn't work

Yeah, some pirate-y (and maybe something in style of eurobeat shanties? once you get several upgrades) would add a lot to the game, but I, unfortunately, have little experience in making music, so I didn't add it

Nice puzzles! I've beat the game on 3rd try because green rocks melted my hp first two times while I tried to grab a chest. I'm not sure that first "magic" bar is needed, as waiting for it to refill was not fun and I didn't find a way to refill it faster.

Neat idea, but controls were very janky. My friend didn't like my fish and egg soup

Very nice game! Essentially a small Automachef, but with more space and random generation. The only complaint really is UI - you can place something while switching buildings, and that combiners can hold infinite amount of stuff, so sushi belting all ingridients to single combiner was very effective

Some events (especially mutiny) straight up kill you, and they happen a lot (even on day 1) even at high morale (>90), which was very frustrating. The farthest I've got was 9 days in about 15 tries. On days with 2 columns of choices I assumed I could see where I could go after taking the corresponding path, but next choice was still randomly generated. Idea isn't bad but unforgiving RNG and death events definetly made gameplay worse

First 2 tries the world generated with 7 and 8 very spaced out planets and I didn't have enough fuel to find them all, could only beat when it generated with 5. Very good job with the audio and vfx, but gameplay could use more work

Doesn't work, not all files uploaded

Gameplay is simple but strangely satisfying, I played until I revealed (not clicked) every tile and got 661 score.

Similar indeed! A bit faster movement would be nice. City looks great by the way!

Nice idea and art! There is a problem with visibility of spikes, and it was very difficult to position jump action. I think it's possible to fix it by either making the "buffer" shorter, or by giving player ability to pick up signs instead of resetting whole level.

Got repetitive fast, but nice art! Blocked zone was, in my opinion, too big, as it covered more than half of a screen. Not sure what other types of asteroids did, as they had about the same speed and dealt the same amount of damage

Very well done, especially presentation! I did lose on first playtrough, but saving more equipment on second one helped a lot and I could repay my debt. The only problem I've had is that heroes can kill goblins even when they are already in death animation, which happened quite often because I didn't get much equipment with a health bonus.

Good presentation. But almost 3 GB? Not a lot of people will download this just because of that file size. And it's not like the game would lose anything if it was 2d, even. The tavern did look great, but even though there were a lot of different characters in background, every adventurer was the same, and their requests got repetitive. There is no progression or score to keep track of how many quest you completed, you can only lose by failing quests. I am not sure how levels influenced quest failure chance, as level 90+ adventurer failed a quest with three added difficulty (I suppose), and level ~50 could complete max level kill quest when I tried to kill them on purpose. Overall, I think too much time was spent on presentation, which could be used to improve gameplay.

Idea is nice. Can't say I like gravity added to breakout, and AI could definetly use work, as I've waited for player to hit last brick for three minutes straight. Even if I nudged the ball in correct direction, player still sent it to an empty part of the field.

Impressive art and the gameplay overall is great! Really only things I'd change is resetting guard positions on restart so the player doesn't need to wait for them to get back. Maybe also make guard hitboxes a bit smaller as I've dashed into them quite a lot, but maybe that's just skill issue on my part

Minigame doesn't work sadly, also human hitbox was odd. But nice art though!

Creative, but there is no strategy. You basically push everything in "entire class" section till everyone except nerds leave and then target them one by one.

Pretty fun! Got 17100 score, but the game does need a difficulty build up. I found that it is advantageous to bump in rocks from time to time to decrease speed, as at high speeds it was pretty difficult to eat skiers.

Nice idea. The game does have a bug hovewer, only the rightmost building has a hitbox

Nice idea and music, but was very hard due to not having enough time to react. Almost every attempt was almost fully dark (could sometimes see fish but not the red orbs), except for second one. Restarted, same result, game is much more enjoyable when I have more than .5 seconds to react. So, if you want to beat the game, best way is to restart it and die once, then you can play normally.
By the way, what was the intended level of light?
