I really love the art style! I found the gameplay really fun. The sounds and switching views is satisfying. I'm excited to see if it gets updated after the jam! This whole game is really beautiful and fun :D
It seemed like a very interesting game, but I feel like it's very confusing at the start. Definitely could have used a tutorial or some direction. Also, it didn't scale properly so the edges of the screen were cut off for me.
But stylistically it seemed really good.
Thanks for playing! Aaaand yeah the scaling is a bit wonky, we couldnt get it do adapt to all screensizes in time unfortunately, but I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless! As for tutorials, we were unable to get any into the actual game, but we do actually have some simple instructions on the itch page (maybe I should've made them more visible oops)
It took me a few restarts to figure out how to play, but I'm glad I stuck with it! The gameplay loop was pretty addicting, and I absolutely loved the sound and art design. I would love to see this idea fleshed out more as the atmosphere and game design is amazing. My only complaint would be the right click to drag ship mechanic - personally I think this would feel nicer as a click ship and then click the location. Overall though amazing work, definitely one of my favorite games so far!
Quite a nice gameplay loop, however after a while it was mostly just clicking on boat and then selling it, there wasn't a form of strategy or risk in here. I didn't see the point of switching the boats to a different place instead of letting them stay there for the entire game. However, the art style was very cool and unique to look at. Overall, a cool submission.
I'm happy you liked it! I will say I agree with your criticisms and think them valid. This is all stuff we intend to fix after the game jam as there was stuff we didn't have time to include that would go some way to adressing those issues, (ships capsizing, nodes having different levels of difficulty, black market gossip and etc.) and some more balancing needed! But no use crying over spillt milk, we did what we could. ;) Thank you for playing our game.
Fun game, and looks very good! I didn't really have time to think about what orders to fulfil as I had to constantly check on the ships though, and buying ships after filling menu to the left doesn't add new ones but you still lose money
This game is very well polished! You did a good job with the game feel. The art and the music work perfectly together. It was somewhat difficult at first though, it took a second to learn.
I would love to play that game only if it was browser playable :(
WOW. This is super impressive for a jam game. The visuals, gameplay, audio, and honestly every aspect comes together really well in it. Bravo to everyone involved.
