I got the highscore! Fun game but very steep learning curve. I really liked the idea of the red and blue blocks! The wall jumping is really nice. And I like that it was pretty much a puzzle + platformer game. Like the jump in the end I was a bit confused how to do it. But realized I could stay on the wall for a bit longer and wait for the block to respawn. Felt really nice to finally beat it! And once I beat it, I felt like I could start speedrunning finally and then finally got the highscore! I liked how you have a tutorial in the menu as well so you can play around and learn before you start. Great game well done!

I love the pixel art, the running animation is really fun. The game was a bit confusing at times, but once I understood everything it was fun! Well done!

Super cool! It's so satisfying when you see your upgrades really have an effect on the enemies, along with super clear progression! The sprites are really nice too, and I like the structure of having a upgrade hut down and it getting harder as you go up! I do wish the boss was a bit harder with maybe a different attack starting when it's at 50% health or something? And maybe once you activate the boss some more intense music starts! But either way super nice game, well done!

The game looks incredible! And the music is perfect for this, felt super stressful as the water was rising!

Loved the ending, really cool game! Could be fun if you could bait the dogs to run on the landmines and kill them that way haha.

That would be awesome!

You got 57??? Whaaat!! Well played, would love too see some gameplay if you happened to record it!!

It should be working now! Hopefully you want to try getting a record again :)

Oooh it might be that the leaderboard has a limit?? It reached 100 people a while ago, and one other person said they didnt get on the leaderboard... I thought it was the profanity filter or something. I'm gona remove some people at the bottom! Thanks for letting me know!

It seems to still be working, but you have to be in the top 12 to see yourself there. I sadly didnt have time to make it possible to your own rank if youre out of the 12 range.

Really cool game! Creative levels, I mean who's never wanted to go down a rope and steal some jewels, now we can finally do it! Would love to see this become a full game. The player could be some kind of procedurally animated character, I hope you keep working on it!

Awesome game!! Did you watch the spline videos by Freya Holmér as well? Looks kind of like the intro to one of them! Super cool implementation, well done!

Super cool game!! I got really into it really quick. Even though I didn't get on the leaderboard now I would like to try later again! Really fun, well done!

I love typing games so this was really fun, I liked that you put some jokes in there for us to type!

I love the art, and loved the grappling hook. The idea of not tipping over valuable items was really nice. For some reason it thought I had a highscore of 8800 when I'd never played the game before. But I ended up replacing it with a higher score! :)

Really like this game! The sound design is incredible. The music is perfect for the game and doesn't get tiring. The gameplay is a great balance between risk and reward. Well done!

Aaah that's a cool solution! Thanks for sharing!

Awesome game!! We had very similar ideas! Your game is pretty much what I had in mind at first, but decided to change to pixel art cause I didn't know how to do a similarity algorithm haha.

Well done!!! I'm super impressed, and really cool that you built a site just to host the new drawn images.

Hey, try refreshing! The cursor should be a lot better now!

Thank you! I fixed the cursor bug now, hope you can check it out again!

Thank you! Btw I fixed the cursor bug now, hope you check it out again!

Hey! I fixed the cursor now! Sorry about that. Hopefully you can try it again how it's meant to be played haha.

You're right! I wish I remembered to add some sound effects. I'll update it once the jam is over.

Funny you say that, it was actually my plan from the beginning haha. I actually made this leaf character:

But I was never really that happy with it, and from the top down it looked pretty weird. So I eventually changed it to first person and my plan was to make the hand look like it was made of leaves. But I ran out of time before I could make it sadly. Anyways thanks so much for the feedback!!

Oh yeah some subtle screaming noises would be really funny! But yeah I spent very little time on sounds and level design sadly, theres a lot of things I would change now in hindsight . Thanks for the feedback!

Hey, I'm not sure what software you made this in. But if you did it in unity, you should look up "DontDestroyOnLoad()". You can use that on your audiosource, and it will keep playing when you switch scenes!

Really interesting concept! I got the hang of the mechanic pretty quick and the game was a fun journey! Well done!

I love short puzzle games and this one was no exception. Looks beautiful, great job.

I agree 100% with this! I was playtesting it in the end and really got tired of the second part. Only part I liked was pushing them all into the void in the very end, but the rest was super tedious. Originally the game was supposed to be just blowing them off all the park stuff and then you were done but I feared it would be short (I was wrong). If I could go back I would just make more park furniture to clean without the boring second part. Great feedback, thank you!

Absolutely gorgeous art!! I had a thought while playing, something I think that could be really interesting. If you have a recipe on  the side, where you have to get for example: 1 red leaf, 1 green leaf, and 1 yellow leaf. You have to dodge everything else, and if you mess up the recipe you lose a life. Then once you have those 3 ingredients you would take them back to some kind of deposit place and get a new recipe. Idk I think that could be fun if you ever want to expand on this beautiful game. Anyways I loved it, good job!

Love the art, nice animations. The music stressed me out a bit don't know why haha, maybe would be nice with some  more ambient sound, like birds chirping and some wind or something with some slow piano notes maybe? But thats just personal preference. Awesome game nonetheless! Loved seeing the bear go into the cave with a full belly.

This game looks really good, and I think the mini map was a perfect touch. And I think the player intuitively follows a path that teaches them about the games mechanics at a great pace. Like when I went upstream to find the mushroom and it says I need a grow spell, I'm like ok I need to head back to the boat to find that spell. It felt like everything had a simple purpose that ties to the progression of the game. Well done!

Really cool game! Looks great and feels very polished. Well done!

Simple but fun game! I got myself a golden duck. I love the speed powerup, and the golden leaf is super satisfying. Great job!

Looks absolutely beautiful and I love the casette player, thats a nice touch.

Thank you for the feedback! I added the leaderboard at the very last second so it got very tight haha, I planned on making it 3D but didn't have time sadly.

Amazing concept! I love the idea of a momentum based platformer. I think you executed the controls really well and it feels like there's a high skill ceiling to this which is awesome. I know this is supposed to be like a raging game, and I think it does that very well. I just wish there were more checkpoints, especially in those first few levels so the player doesn't get discouraged. Still a great game with huge potential, well done!

Very cool game! I had one thought while playing, I wish the background was made up of a bit more muted colors, it feels like its part of the foreground sometimes (The big circles and the R&R). Not a big deal but thats just something I would change. Otherwise, the enemy AI is really good! I really like the enemy that dashes towards you and that it shows charging up for its dash. And I like that you have to find those score hot spots that you can stand on to get points. This is clearly a thought out game, and you worked hard on it! Well done!

Thank you! :)
